Story
Meredith is a very special 2 yr old Yorkie. She came to us from a breeder/hoarder case after their house burned down. She was very pregnant and gave birth within 36 of coming into our care. It was clear right away that Meredith had never been socialized and didn’t trust people. She has never barked, growled, or shown teeth, instead she just does what she can to avoid human contact. Meredith, however, loves other dogs! She loves to wrestle, play tug-a-war and just run around crazy. She has now been with us for 3 months and just last night she finally felt safe enough to take a nap on the couch with her foster mom (more than an arms distance away). Meredith is looking for a very special home with another playful dog and no young kids. Meredith needs a family that knows she may always be a dogs dog and not a people dog. She may eventually warm up to people but it could take some time. Meredith is vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, 90% crate trained and potty pad trained.

Story
Meet Teddy: The Adorable Pup in Need of a Forever Home! Teddy is a charming 3-5 month old puppy who has already faced more challenges than most pups his age. This tiny bundle of joy was surrendered to a high-kill animal shelter in Southern California along with his brother. Sadly, while his brother found a loving home, Teddy was left behind, facing an uncertain future. Fortunately, our rescue organization spotted a plea for help, as Teddy's life was at stake due to overcrowding at the shelter. Our dedicated volunteers rushed in to save him, and now he’s thriving in our care! Our vets believe Teddy is a delightful mix of Yorkshire Terrier and Mini Schnauzer, and he’s expected to remain a small breed pup. With his endearing personality, he has quickly stolen the hearts of everyone around him. Teddy adores having his cheeks rubbed and his ears scratched, and he expresses his gratitude with sweet, slobbery kisses. Teddy is a playful little guy who loves toys, enjoys the company of other dogs, and is great with children. His joyful spirit and loving nature make him the perfect addition to any family. Teddy is currently available for adoption, and we are happy to cover his neuter surgery at the Simi Valley Spay Neuter Clinic when he reaches 6 months of age. If you’re looking for a loving companion to brighten your days, Teddy is your boy! Don’t miss your chance to make this adorable pup a part of your family. Please send your inquiries to info@concernedcitizensanimalrescue.org and help us find Teddy the loving home he deserves!
