He is a handsome 6-year-old, 12-pound, and is Yorkie mix with a Wookie face! His front teeth are missing we think that he was kenneled for long periods and tried to chew out. He is gold and tan in color. His fluffy coat will indeed need regular grooming. It's wonderful to hear that he’s learning to adapt to a potty routine and that he enjoys his walks and car rides. How could this delicate little nugget have been a stray!?!? She has been neglected for some time and is settling into the good life, learning that she is safe and sound. She is kind, quiet, mellow and a gentle old soul. Sophie is good with dogs, probably cats, and gentle teenagers. She truly is a kind soul! We think that she's 14 years old and she weighs a whopping 5 lbs. Our vet has done extensive tests on our little nugget and, other than minor changes to her liver, she is healthier than first thought! She will need to take a liver supplement for the foreseeable future, and we will have her spayed once she's gained a little weight. Sophie deserves the world. We know that she will be a wonderfully loyal lap dog and she will do well in most any mellow home.

       Meet Maya Blue!   This 5 lb, 8-year-old Yorkie mix is a sassy little soul who came to us from Contra Costa Animal Services. We can’t wait to share her journey with you!   &#226&#156&#168 It’s Maya’s world, and she occasionally lets us in. She thrives in her familiar spaces and is a little spicy when it comes to human interaction. Not a fan of most touches, she’ll show her sass with alligator rolls and playful hops if picked up. But don’t worry—her “bites” are toothless and gentle!   Maya loves to explore (sometimes in circles), nap, and enjoy her meals. When she does allow you in, she’ll give you those sweet, brief kisses and the occasional ear rub.   She’s not a fan of crates and prefers her own cozy enclosed space at night. While she uses potty pads when needed, she’s still learning her potty training, especially outside her comfort zone.   Due to her aversion to being touched, Maya would do best in a quiet home without children. She’s not keen on harnesses either, so outdoor adventures will need to wait until she’s more comfortable.   Stay tuned for updates as Maya Blue gets closer to finding her forever home. PLEASE READ ALL ABOUT ME! My foster mom has gotten a lot of applications that do not align with my super active personality. I am a crazy puppy that needs lots of walking and training! I am a sweet, loving and energetic pup! My motto is “sleep hard, play harder” and I will never turn down a game of fetch! I’m a chatty girly and my grumbles crack my foster family up. I LOVE to run and really need a fenced yard to safely do so. I really hope my new family enjoys walks or runs with me, too! I came to my foster family when my original owner urgently needed a safe place for me to go. I was a little sad at first but quickly warmed up to my foster mom - even though now the kids who give me my treats are my favorite people. My foster fam has really enjoyed having me the past few months, but the resident pup here (a grumpy old lady) tells me I’ve overstayed my visit. I’m hoping to find an active family who will get me spayed and keep me forever! And soon!!

Please meet Augie. He is such a calm, sweet guy. He NEEDS a home. He is so gentle that he just doesn't do well in a rescue situation. It can be a foster home or a forever home. But a home he needs! He has gained some weight in rescue but with regular walks and outings, I am sure he will get back to a good weight. He does well with other dogs but he prefers to just stay out of trouble and clear of hoopla! I just know he would LOVE to have someone to spend time with him. Doesn't need much...just some love. Pukka has been a service dog since 2014, he helped respond to extreme emotional distress from CPTSD through high school attending with me. He has been amazing with my 2 young children 1&5, rarely barking never a biter. He’s afraid of fireworks sounds but loves to watch them through a window with his ears covered. Gentle, loving, and very friendly to all ages, animals, and types of people. Overtime he has become a pet as I have started healing and I hope he can enjoy his days in an environment where he can give love and be at peace. His anxiety has started rising causing him to hide a bit as my kids become more aggressive and fear causing damage to his own mental state should he move with us to a much smaller place.

Tater tot is 8 months old. Loves to play. Lots of energy. Loves kids and other dog mates. Looking for a family who is going to love & care for him as much as we do 💙
