I’m Birdie! I’m approximately 4 months old. My Mom is a Yorkie and my dad is a blonde Chiweenie. I’m unique in my look, and right now my foster Mom says I look like a mini golden retriever. I’m soft as angels hair and foster Mom thinks I’m so beautiful with the sweetest eyes! I’m very affectionate and love to give kisses. My favorite thing to do is play with my siblings and snuggle with humans!! I am extremely smart and learn quickly. I’m the only girl in my litter but I can run with the boys and hold my own! I survived parvo with two of my three siblings. I’m a fighter and am healthy as can be now! My ideal home would be with no small children as I’m a small girl at 5.5 pounds. How could this delicate little nugget have been a stray!?!? She has been neglected for some time and is settling into the good life, learning that she is safe and sound. She is kind, quiet, mellow and a gentle old soul. Sophie is good with dogs, probably cats, and gentle teenagers. She truly is a kind soul! We think that she's 14 years old and she weighs a whopping 5 lbs. Our vet has done extensive tests on our little nugget and, other than minor changes to her liver, she is healthier than first thought! She will need to take a liver supplement for the foreseeable future, and we will have her spayed once she's gained a little weight. Sophie deserves the world. We know that she will be a wonderfully loyal lap dog and she will do well in most any mellow home.
