Meet Cobb! Cobb entered Riverside Shelter as a stray, and when he wasn't claimed, we scooped him up on November 12th to become a Frosted Face. He is about 10 years old and weighs just under 13 lbs. Despite all Cobb has been through recently - being lost and then in a shelter, he is super sweet and friendly. He enjoys going for walks on the trails around FFF and has quite a bit of pep in his step! We will add more information about this cute newbie as he settles in. You are welcome to stop by any day of the week between 10 AM and 3 PM to meet him and our other Frosted Faces. Hope to see you soon!

Meet tiny TIMMY! He is a 3yo, 11lb YORKSHIRE TERRIER (possibly silky terrier blend) who is good with people and dogs of all sizes. He loves playing with toys, tug-o-war with a little rope is his favorite, and is excitedly learning to fetch. He is potty and crate trained, enjoys cuddling on his terms, and is a charmingly sweet boy. Timmy is expressive with body language and adorably whimpers when he wants attention, but is not a barker. Piki's personality can be described as: a cat in a dog's body. He is beautiful but only allows you to pet him on his terms, which is rarely. He grumbles/growls when affection is unwanted and retreats to his crate. He loves laying in the shade. Piki will tolerate dog's in the house but will go after outsiders on/off leash. He takes medication for allergies and he has a collapsing trachea. Piki is potty trained but still needs a belly band indoors to avoid occasional marking. He will do best in a quiet serene setting so not to aggravate his cough by barking. He has lameness in his back legs which cause him to occasionally stumble and fall when walking. For his age, Piki has good pep and will bring cat joy in dog form for many more years. At one point in his life he thought that he had a wonderful family, but when his owners decided to move they also decided to dump him in a Mexico shelter to be killed. Thankfully, a good samaritan took him in and asked for help, but for months no one stepped up to help Bowie. Until a friend of mine reached out to me to see if I could help this precious puppy. Of course I said YES, poor baby deserves a chance at a great life. I named him Bowie. Bowie, is now fully vetted, vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. He's so ready for a loving family and maybe even another friendly dog to bond and play with. This sweet tiny boy deserves the best!! He loves people, older considerate kids and other dogs his size. Bowie, is very smart, treat motivated so any additional training will be a snap. I can't tell you enough about Bowie, we all just love him so!!! he doesn't bother our cats uses the doggie door like a champ and loves watching Animal Planet on TV, he's an absolute gem. Rosie is an 18 month old Maltese/Poodle mix. She was surrendered to the vet by family who no longer wanted to care for her. She has been adjusting wonderfully in her foster home (with kids). She is already potty trained and crate trained and did well with other dogs. She didn't seem to mind cats but we have not totally tested that. She's an overall sweet girl who didn't deserve to be abandoned.
