Story
Fifi is a senior lady looking for a warm, safe place to call her own. She's all about enjoying her golden years with a human to love her, another doggo to snuggle and play with, and a tree to snooze under (ideally)!.🍁 Fifi is a 8-year-old Maltese cross, weighing 17 pounds and enjoys the nicknames Daisy and Daisy May! She has had great interactions with a variety of smaller dogs, but has not been tested with big dogs. 🦴Fifi is a cautious pooch who will take some time to feel confident in new surroundings. Using a treat and calm manners can help coax her into new rooms and places. She loves to be outside (if it is not raining), and while she's a low-energy pooch, she loves a few figure-eight zoomies each day in the backyard. You'd be surprised by the speed of this cutie! 🌪️ 🌲After all the running, a snooze under the shade of a tree is the perfect spot. A dog bed or blankie inside is ok too! Fifi doesn't mind her harness, but has not been tested properly on walks yet. She is a flight risk, so needs to be leashed or in a properly fenced yard. 🚪 She loves food! And will "sit" like a pro! But, eats far too fast and may require a slow feeder bowl. 🤫Fifi would thrive in a calmer home as she doesn't like raised voices and startles easy. This lady is house trained well, and knows where to do her business, but may have the odd oopsie while she adjusts.🚽 Fifi has not been tested with kids, cats or other small animals.

Story
Meet Olga: Your Future Furry Friend! Olga is a 6-year-old Lhasa/Maltese/terrier, maybe more! mix weighing around 11 pounds, full of charm and potential! She is currently seeking a home where she can be the only dog, so she can receive all the attention she deserves! Though she's still learning the ropes of playtime, Olga shows great promise and enthusiasm. While she can coexist with other dogs, she is picky about her dog friends. Olga has shown some resource guarding, so no kids or older kids would be a better match for her. Although she loves her walks, she's still learning to behave appropriately when she sees other dogs while on leash. One of Olga's favorite moments of the day is getting her morning kisses right after being let out of her kennel. She finds comfort in her kennel, often retreating there for some downtime during the day. Olga's little tail is a perpetual motion machine, especially when squeaky toys, balls, human food, or attention are involved. She's an active dog, eager for adventures, but also loves a good cuddle session. Stairs were initially a challenge, but Olga has conquered them like a champ, though she still prefers being carried when given the option. And one small quirk to note: she's not a fan of having her face wiped! If you're looking for a sweet, active, and affectionate dog, Olga might just be the perfect addition to your home. Apply today to give this lovely pup a forever home!
