Story
My wife and I been having her for about 9-10 years. She is 11 now and a very chill and relaxing dog. She likes to sleep a lot and loves belly rubs. Always very excited to hear us come through the door and love to give love. Unfortunately she developed diabetes at the beginning of the and year and eventually lost her vision. We have been giving her medical care, but it’s becoming very difficult to keep up with. We travel a lot for work and it’s hard to keep up with the insulin and appointments along with the medial boarding. We are looking for someone who can give her the attention and care she deserves and have the resources to keep up with her insulin and medicated food.

Story
Sweetest pup with broken legMcDavid is an adorable and sweet baby, currently 7 months old (as of 12/11/2024) and 40 lbs. McDavid is a poodle mix with soft gorgeous black coat. Poodle mix breeds require regular maintenance of their coats - brushing and grooming.  He came to our program from a local shelter and had a severely broken leg. He went through surgery to repair the break - involving pins, rods and plates - to help give him the best chance at walking on all 4 legs again. He had a rough time with his recovery and needed several Dr's visits to help work through mending his broken bones.  Through the hard work and dedication of the foster family, he has made a full recovery. He will always have a limp on the injured leg but that does not impact his quality of life in any capacity. McDavid gets along great with dogs of all shapes and sizes. He would do best in a home with older kiddos and we have not seen him around cats - but we can cat test if needed. He is housebroken and crate trained. He knows basic commands and just needs a home to call his own this holiday season.
