Story
Did you say you wanted a little, quiet, older gent who likes cuddles and hanging out on the couch? Meet Teddy - 8 years old, and 11 pounds of adorable fluff. His dream day is breakfast then a nap, a little outing to sniff the pee mail and maybe meet the neighborhood dogs with whom he is very polite no matter their size, back home to the couch, eat, cuddle and repeat.  Teddy gets excited when you get home and does a cute bouncy run! He likes to sit out in the sun (when its there!).  He'd be a good apartment dog or a home with a yard.  He's easy that way! Teddy’s a smart boy who learns routines quickly. He’s house trained (is adept with the dog door) and doesn’t mark. As a Senior, he has some vision impairment and is a little hard of hearing, but he’ll follow you round the house with no trouble. Teddy has been successfully treated for heartworm. He will need one more follow up test in 6 months, and he also needs a dental which Underdogs will arrange with his current vet at our expense.  Everyone at our Vet loves Teddy Bear! Teddy would like a calm, child free home. Although he cohabitates well with other dogs, he is not up for playing or boisterous activity, and would therefore prefer the company of another calm senior or to be the only dog.   Underdogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. Adoption fee is $280. Teddy is also part of our Senior for Senior Program with an adoption fee of $75.00 for those over 65 years old. He is being fostered in North Milwaukie, OR. You MUST have an Underdogs Rock Rescue application on file to request a meet with an Underdog. An online Underdogs Rock adoption application can only be accessed at  https://underdogsrock.org/adopt-a-dog  . You must be available to meet an Underdog in their foster's location and dogs are not held for applicants or shipped outside of the Portland metro area. Home checks are also part of the process and will be conducted virtually or in person. For updates on all the Underdogs be sure to follow the Underdogs Rock Rescue Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/UnderdogsRockRescueDecember 12, 2025, 12:29 am

Story
**Please note this is pet is currently out of town pet but we will transport this pet to OR for you when adopted. All fees listed include transport fees.** Meet Thumper Twinkletoes! Say hello to Thumper Twinkletoes, a 5-year-old Silky Terrier who’s as charming as his name suggests! Weighing just over 6 pounds, this tiny gentleman is full of love, personality, and a little sparkle wherever he goes. Thumper is super sweet and adores being the center of attention. Whether he’s soaking up belly rubs, showing off his happy dance, or trotting proudly on his leash, this little guy is all about love and joy. He also enjoys spending time outside and taking in the fresh air. When Thumper first came to us after being found roaming the streets, he didn’t have much hair — but with good food, medical care, and lots of love, he’s grown much of it back and looks fabulous! He may have some allergies (possibly environmental), but his Cytopoint shots help keep him comfortable and happy. Thumper is working on his house training, but he’s already a great leash walker and a fast learner. With a little patience and consistency, he’ll be the perfect companion. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate, and resilient little pup who loves attention and has a heart as big as his name, Thumper Twinkletoes is ready to steal yours! Interested in becoming a forever home for Thumper? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application. Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws . We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting. We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and appreciate you working with us.For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process. Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public in Oklahoma. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!

Story
Video 1: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/_I98d4DP6jw Video 2: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/R4ikj0Xsa10 Rudolph is about a year old and weighs 16 lbs. He was found dumped in a field where he would have certainly died if he wasn't rescued. He is the sweetest little boy who loves cuddles and kisses and follows me like a champ. He was a litte intimidated by all the big dogs at the rescue at first but once he realized that everyone is a friend he joined the gang and now runs and plays with everyone in the yard freely. He is also great with cats, including kittens. He is currently still in Oklahoma where he was rescued but he can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take him in or he will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Note: No dogs are advertised as potty-trained because most dogs need at least some re-training in a new environment and after being in a shelter/rescue environment/strays. www.facebook.com/desideratarescue (copy and paste into a new browser window) Transport locations: - Washington State (Kennewick, Spokane, Tacoma, Lynnwood/Edmonds, Bellingham) - Oregon (Portland and Springfield) - Colorado (Ft Lupton) - Idaho (Heyburn and Boise/Meridian) - Utah (Ogden) - Wyoming (Evanston, Rock Springs, Laramie) - Montana (Missoula) - Illinois (Vandalia, Springfield, Chicago) - Indiana (Spiceland, Burn Harbor) - Michigan (St Joseph, Battle Creek, Ann Arbor) - Wisconsin (Madison, Wausau, Eau Claire, Appleton, Milwaukee) - Minnesota (Minneapolis/St Paul) - Iowa (Des Moines) - Ohio (Columbus and London) - Pennsylvania (Erie, Pittsburgh and Harrisburg) - New York (Buffalo and Albany) - Connecticut (Enfield) - New Jersey (Bedminster) - Nevada (Las Vegas) - Arizona (Flagstaff) - Vermont (Brattleboro) Vetting: neutered, microchipped, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, dhpp vaccine x 3, lepto vaccine x 2, dewormed several times, on monthly flea and tick prevention, on monthly heartworm protection, heartworm tested (negative).
