Story
Hi, Toby! Toby is a one and a half year old (DOB 3/4/23) male Yorkie mix looking for a forever home. Toby currently weighs 7.5 pounds. Toby was surrendered to CRT originally when he was three months old and adopted as a puppy. Unfortunately, poor Toby was returned earlier this month due to his adopters not having the time to dedicate to a puppy like Toby. Thus, Toby has not yet been trained, and when he was returned he still needed to learn basics like housetraining. Toby is a terrific little dog! He likes other dogs, both big and small, and wants to play with everyone. He would love to have fur siblings at his new home; he looks up to other dogs like he’s their little brother. He loves to go for walks and is curious about new sights and sounds.Toby has a good appetite and eats his food right up. His fluffy tail is wagging all the time! He takes a few minutes to meet new people but then likes getting petted and will paw at your hand when he wants more pets. He does well with children. Toby loves treats and toys. Dislikes include garden toads (stinky!) and the garbage truck (too loud!) Overall Toby is just the perfect little pup! Toby has been hard at work in his foster home learning potty training. Currently, he keeps his kennel dry all night long and has a favorite spot in the yard where he likes to do his business! Toby is leash trained. He is not required to go to a home with a fenced yard, but it would be a plus. Toby has learned to sit on command, especially for treats! Toby is fully vetted and appears healthy. He is heartworm negative and on monthly heartworm prevention. He has been neutered and is up to date on all of his vaccines. He also has been microchipped. Toby’s adoption donation is $300. Your current dogs/cats must be spayed or neutered unless a veterinarian has determined that your current pet(s) should not be fixed due to medical reasons. They must also be up-to-date on shots and on HW preventative. Reference checks and a home visit are required so southeast dogs can only be adopted in NC/SC, VA, TN, AL, MD and GA.

Mia, is a 6 year old spayed female purebred poodle. She's very loving and needs a stable home where she can get all the care that she deserves. Mia is very nervous around dogs whom are rambunctious and play rough, she will do well around a calmer companion. She loves cats! Mia is a healthy and happy dog. She loves laying around with her owner and get cuddles. She also enjoys walks.
