Story
Ziggy is 7 years old, weighs around 10 lbs. He's very active, playful, happy, sweet pooch. He loves people especially strangers, he loves his walks and playtime. He's a picky eater. He has an interesting personality that's so funny and charming. He's indoor trained but gives a hard time when it's a new location. Please be prepared to walk him 3 times a day. He's not off leash trained and don't respond to recall. He sometimes does handstands when he pees, he wears a male wrap (doggy diaper) to keep him clean on walks. That's the only concern thing about him. He's scared of large breed dogs and some random small ones occasionally. Please be extra careful when you introduce a new dog and pull back if he starts barking upon greeting. Need someone who's able to spend enough time on his walks and playtime. Please give him some extra love. He loves his walks and people watching, car rides. Thank you!!!

Location Troy, MO Application at leiashope.org Endora is a little lady and is learning to live in freedom, outside of a puppy mill. She is shy at first but once she warms up, she will politely ask for attention. Endora is a fan of all things soft! She likes to lay in her open door kennel with fluffy blankets and lay in comfy dog beds. She never had such luxuries where she came from and had to sleep on a hard kennel floor. Endora does well with other dogs and is watching them closely and learning how to be a dog and play with others and toys! It won't take long and this cutie will be running around and playing! She just needs time to figure things out. Endora would do best in a home with another young dog to learn from or someone who has mill dog experience. Mill dogs are under socialized and take some time to trust people. They can be easily spooked by items and sounds we take for granted, like a microwave dinging, garbage truck, leashes, TV, etc. Endora's adoption is $500. She is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccines, and on monthly flea and heart worm prevention. Applications at leiashope.org. NOTE: WE ARE A VOLUNTEER RAN ORGANIZATION AND OUR APPLICATION PROCESS CAN TAKE 7-10 BUSINESS DAYS, DEPENDING ON OUR AVAILIBILITY AND YOUR REFERENCES. ALL OF OUR DOGS ARE IN FOSTER HOMES AND NOT AT A CENTRAL LOCATION. AN APPROVED APPLICATION IS REQUIRED BEFORE WE DO MEET AND GREETS. WE DO NOT SHIP OR TRANSPORT DOGS. YOU MUST COME TO THE LOCATION OF THE DOG TO MEET AND ADOPT. Dogs are a commitment for THEIR lifetime. For puppies this could be 15 years. If YOU cannot commit to the lifetime of the DOG, please do not apply. Puppies under 9 months must go to a home where there is someone home frequently (works from home or a partner is home), can adequately socialize and train the puppy, and can keep up with puppy energy!
