Story
*We would like to keep Luna and Lucy together* We have had Lucy for about almost 5 years now, since she was a little puppy. She's very smart and loving, with a lot of energy. She has very 'Yorkie' behavior, in that she can be stubborn at times unless she's motivated (usually with food). She gets along great with everyone in our family, and when we had a cat she would always try to play with her. She has her best friend Luna, who is about the same size, and they get along great together. We are trying to keep the two of them together. We recently had a baby, and after the pregnancy my wife's allergies have gotten really bad, so we need to rehome the dogs.

These pups are in Palo Alto, California too!

She's truly a Louisa—an independent thinker with a heart full of devotion and a flair for drama (mostly in the form of zoomies). She also has a non-shedding coat that is an option for those who have allergies or simply don't have the time or energy for cleaning up dog fur. However, remember, that means booking appointments with the groomer! A Tale of TransformationMuch like the heroines in her namesake’s novels, Louisa started her journey a bit shy, preferring her human’s company over the big, scary backyard. But with time, patience, and plenty of pep talks, she’s blossomed into a confident little lady who now struts outside like she owns the place. She’s athletic (jogging, hiking, and keeping up with an Aussie—yes, really!), yet she also enjoys a good book… er, I mean, a good TV binge with her person at night. A Day in the Life of Louisa May Alcott 6:30 AM – Rise and shine! Time for a morning potty break, followed by a jog (she’s your built-in fitness accountability partner).7:45 AM – Breakfast is served! She’s an easy eater—no dramatic food preferences here.Work Time – Louisa’s an excellent office assistant, quietly lounging while you work or running outside with her canine co-workers.4:00 PM Walk – Because the great outdoors is her second favorite novel.Evening Routine – Whether you’re watching Pride and Prejudice or Parks and Recreation, she’s down to cuddle—or find a cozy corner to lounge like the sophisticated lady she is.9:30 PM – Bedtime snuggles commence. Yes, she sleeps in bed like the queen she is. Best Supporting Cast: Other Dogs: Louisa is a social butterfly! She’s lived with, played with, and befriended dogs of all sizes—from tiny pups to extra-large gentle giants. She reads social cues well and loves a good romp with her canine pals. Cats: Approved! She’s even been a gentle nursemaid to kittens. Kids: Louisa is a sweetheart with children, from toddlers to teens. Toys: Stuffies are her love language. Why You’ll Love Louisa She’s got the table manners of a Victorian lady (always sits before meals), the loyalty of Jo March, and the athleticism of a surprise track star. She’s quiet, affectionate, and eager to please—but she’s also looking for someone who can help her continue growing in confidence. The Perfect Family for Louisa May Alcott: An active household that will take her on adventures (jogging, hiking, or simply running errands). A work-from-home or dog-friendly office setup—she wants to be near her person. A routine-loving, structure-providing human who will help her feel secure. Bonus points if you have another dog to show her the ropes!   Adopt Louisa, and You’ll Never Read Alone Again. She’s ready to turn the page to her next great adventure—with you!      March 9, 2025, 11:42 pm

She plays hard in the yard but has excellent house manners and is a quiet, well-behaved companion indoors. Leash training is in progress. She walks well with another confident pup but can get anxious alone. Housetrained, potty pad trained, and crate trained. She has free roam in her foster home and is non-destructive. Socialization & Car Rides. Nori is still learning to be confident in new situations and will need reassurance when going on outings. Ideal Home: Nori is adaptable and can thrive in various living situations, including: A home with another friendly dog for companionship or as a solo dog A house with a yard—or an apartment/condo setting where she gets regular walks A home where she can go to work with her person—she’s great at meet-and-greets! A family with older kids or adults who enjoy taking her on outings Why You’ll Love Nori: Nori is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and low-maintenance. She will bring joy to any home with her gentle nature and love for her furry friends. Her foster mom’s favorite things? Nori’s adorable morning greetings and how she sleeps on her back with her legs straight in the air! Ready to add Nori to your family? She’s waiting to meet you!March 9, 2025, 6:32 pm
