Chloe is an independent, confident and bright golden oldie that enjoys daily walks around the neighborhood to show off her leash skills and meet new friends. Her absolute favorite time of the day is meal time/snack time and since she can’t tell time, she is always ready to chow down. Once her tummy is full she loves to be near her people on a cozy dog bed. While she’s cute and happy to be near her people, she is not a big cuddler, but perhaps she is waiting for the right family before she tries.
While this curious and quiet girl has been a pleasure to host, her foster family reports that she is not a fan of her face being touched, so it’s recommended that she not live with small children. She’s still happy to be picked up and carried around, she’s great in the car and is happy to join you on adventures. Chloe has a luxating patella and some arthritis, which is typical for a dog this age, but neither seem to bother her on walks. She can do a limited number of stairs, but should be in a home with few/no stairs or a family willing to carry her.
