Story
Hi! My name is Whiskey. I am a 1 year old, (soon to be) neutered Xoloitzcuintle. I am microchipped, heartworm tested and current on my vaccines. 3 words that describe me: Enthusiastic, playful, and UNIQUE Things staff and volunteers have to say about me: Lots of energy, loves to play with toys, and the weirdest-feeling dog you will ever touch. Activity level/Energy Level: (1-10) 8-Lots of energy! Housetraining Status: I am housetrained! I may just need some patience when adjusting to a new routine. I should do well in a home: I should do well in a home with other dogs given proper introductions and time to adjust. I have never met a cat before so my humans don’t know how I will be around them. I would do great in homes with children ages 12 and up, due to my high energy level and excitable personality. My favorite activities are: Playing with my toys! My favorite toys are stuffed/squeak toys. I also love to be around my humans and like to give them kisses! Things I need work on are: I know some basic commands like sit and down, but not much other than that. I may need some help with my leash manners and basic obedience.
