I need home now! Woof Woof!  I really need my forever home now with another energetic dog that likes to play and a securely fenced yard!  Please contact us to submit an application directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com Evie is a female 18 mos 20 lb Chiweenie (Chi mix and Dachshund)  DOB 18 Nov 2021.   She is a energetic gal that loves doggie blankets, toys, dog beds and playing with energetic dogs. She will be a great companion for an active family with a securely fenced yard, polite/ calm children (over 12 years old) and another energetic/submissive dog (Evie is pretty bossy) or she can be the only dog to be doted on. Small mixed breed experience is recommended. She is an indoor dog.  She likes walks and car rides. She would enjoy dog training classes.  No apartments!       L & S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with  rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. Our adoption fee includes vet care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, etc), as well as transportation and health certificate. Please contact us to ask about our adoption process and our adoption fees.   November 2, 2024, 9:01 pm

Story
I love this little one. I adopted her over 6 years ago when she was 6 months old from a shelter that rescued her from a puppy farm in Montana. She has been a wonderful companion through all of these years. She loves snuggles from anyone and everyone who will give them to her, and thrives off of constant attention, doing everything (including a cute clapping dance) to get more of it. She's always been around other dogs and cats more recently. While she does a very non-intimidating growl around new animals that get in her face, she doesn't ever bite or actually get aggressive with them (calms down completely after a little more exposure). She does really well with children (even when the children don't respect her boundaries). I wish badly that I didnt need to rehome her, but I have to move states, and the new living space doesn't allow for her to come. While devastated, the best I can do for her is to ensure she finds a happy new family filled with the love and care she deserves.
