Story
Opie is a 12 pound Chihuahua-Terrior turning 8 years old this August. I adopted him in New Orleans back in 2017 when I was single and living by myself. Fast forward to 2025, I have a 6 month old son; and it is becoming extremely difficult to give Opie a happy life that he once had. He has developed a bit of separation anxiety, and sometimes will cry when we are not sleeping in the same room. I do not get to spend much time with him anymore, and I just really want him to find a home where he can be loved and spoiled. Opie is a cuddle bug and loves to be on your lap. He is very friendly and playful. He has never bitten anyone, and he is very calm and protective of my son. He gets along with other dogs, but may be a little wary at first. He is a Chihuahua, so barking at the delivery guy is in his nature. He is such a sweet, loving boy that just wants to be a part of a loving family that can show him the attention he deserves, therefore I am not asking for any money.
