Story
If you would like more information about Professor X or are interested in adopting him, please send an email to mhussey91@gmail.com or contact this number, 505-681-1161 Hey there, I’m Professor X, but you can call me PX for short. I’m not just your average pup – I’m a Xolo/husky mix with a brown brindle coat that makes heads turn wherever I go. At 1.5 years young and weighing in at a solid 47 lbs, I’m the perfect blend of energy and snuggles. I am a bit skittish around new people but with the right approach and plenty of tasty treats, I’m learning to strut my stuff like the confident pup I know I can be. When I’m not out exploring the world, you can usually find me lounging on the couch, soaking up all the cuddles and belly rubs I can get. Oh, and did I mention I’m a pro at fetch? Seriously, throw a ball my way, and I’ll fetch it like nobody’s business. I’ve been hitting up doggy daycare since I was a wee pup, and let me tell you, I’m kind of a big deal there. The staff love me, and I love them right back. So what do you say? Story
This is sad and unfortunate, but I have to rehome my dog! 😞 Her name is Venus BaLoo! She’s a little over a year and a half old! She’s good with kids and females, but she is afraid of men! Her owners before me abused her, so men really have to butter her up so she doesn’t run from them!! She is a high maintenance dog, only because she still has puppy energy!! She needs a good, happy, and healthy home!! She’s scared of big dogs, but she is good with smaller dogs when she warmed up to them!! She absolutely must be on a leash if she’s not in a closed in yard otherwise she will run!! She hasn’t been fixed, but she is house trained and kennel trained!! She’s so unbelievably sweet, a great cuddle bug, and is fun to play with! She has a surrender date on Nov. 5 at the Galveston humane society, but I’m doing everything I can to avoid bringing her there, but my life is unfortunately just too busy for me to focus on her and give her the time and attention she deserves!!

Story
Sweet Tito may be only a year old, but he's had a rough go at life so far. This gentle boy came to the shelter absolutely terrified, cowering in his kennel, keeping his tail tucked, shaking, and refusing to eat or spend anytime outside. Fast forwards to a mere few weeks later and Tito has started to come out of his shell and has shown us just how affectionate he is! Tito is a timid boy, quiet in his kennel, and very loving (seriously, all he wants is to be right next to you or on your lap for pets and snuggles)! Tito can be slow to warm up to you, but once you've earned his trust he will be the best friend you've ever had. He only asks that you give him the time and a chance. If you're looking for your best couch companion and bed buddy, Tito is your guy!
