Story
Tidbit is a teeny 10lb senior little who in incredibly sweet but does have a laundry list of medical issues including dental disease, luxating patellas, Heartworm, and has a 4/6 heart murmur. He is a very sweet little guy who LOVES to play with other dogs so would do great in a home with another one. He doesn't seem to mind the size of the dog, and seems to want to play with whatever size is in front of him, but another dog seems to really help Tidbit acclimate to his surroundings for sure! We have learned that Tidbit does have storm anxiety but we have some good meds to help him with that! He also visited the vet June 24th and we know that we will be able to neuter him and give him a good dental after he goes through Heartworm treatment, which he completed end of August, and we also learned that his heart is not yet enlarged so yay for that! He will need to have x-rays every 6 months to check on that progress.  Bonaparte's Retreat will be more than happy to take on the costs for his care.October 29, 2024, 3:11 pm

Story
Caesar is a very little guy with the cutest ears in the entire world! He loves people and seems great with all dogs and we think he would also be fine with cats. Since coming to us we have discovered that Caesar has quite a few health needs that we didn't realize. He has recently been diagnosed with Stage 2 Heart Disease with issues in both the chambers and the valves and will need EKGs every 6 months to monitor. He also does currently have gallstones but they dont seem to be bothering him so we won't be doing anything to assist with those at this time. They will need to be continued to be monitored. We did just recently start him on heart medication so will do another EKG in a month (early October) to see where his heart is at because Caesar does also desperately need a dental. Despite his medical stuff, Caesar is an adorable DOLL of a dog who loves to just sit in your lap and be with you. He is also still fairly active and likes to go on walks but doesn't need anything crazy. He would also be good with a yard to toodle around in! He can have separation anxiety and can be vocal about that so would do best in a home with company and most likely wouldnt be appropriate for an apartment unless someone worked from home or was retired.October 29, 2024, 3:11 pm
