Story
Let me introduce you to Milo, a 9 year old Chihuahua mix at 16.5 lbs. He's a bit over weight but he is walking more so it will be coming off. Milo loves walks above anything else, except food. He does well on a leash and gets along well with all dogs I have seen, (even though he may bark at them), and my two cats. Milo is active and would do best with older kids. He is about 15 pounds.Milo is an easy going, cuddly, house trained dog. His expressive face goes from curious to hopeful to excited and joyful. It has been a real pleasure to have this guy around. Milo's ideal family will spend time with him on walks and at home. He will be less likely to be 'vocal' with companions around. He REALLY likes being with his humans and is a bit anxious when left alone. If you would like to meet Milo please fill out the application on OFOSA.ORG and his foster mom will contact you. By the way my adoption fee is $280 but I am all up to date on vaccinations, chipped and neutered.

Story
This little girl is aptly named. She has a very sunny personality. She is lively, playful, and meant to love. She even has a tan heart-shaped spot on her back as proof and weighs only 10 pounds. She has done everything right in her short life, but she has not met the right humans who can provide her with a home that she can count on forever. Sunny would benefit from a home that has structure, predictability, stability, and consistency to help her feel secure. She needs a human, or a family, who can promise her a commitment.Sunny currently lives in a home with other dogs, and has made some close friends with other fosters. A pairing with a more passive dog would be best. While not aggressive, Sunny is a leader and likely to control the playtime. She may even provide a correction or two. In a secure environment, Sunny is friendly, social, and enjoys LOTS of attention. In a more open environment, or one in which she feels vulnerable (like on walks), she barks at passing people and dogs. With gentle correction she is learning she doesn't have to do that. Being a Chihuahua, Sunny is loyal and strong minded. She is silly. She will entertain you, and make you laugh. Give her a basket of toys and a backyard, and she can entertain herself. She can be impulsive, but she is very intelligent, and with training she learns things quickly. Sunny would be happy in a home with adults or with a family with late teen or young adult children. She is learning to be comfortable being left alone, This is an important consideration if interested in adopting. She is an active girl, and does need an outlet for her energy, but she is also very happy to sit in a lap to keep you company or spoon with you at night. No apartment life for Sunny. She is fully vetted and her adoption fee is only $320. and she weights about 8 pounds. To meet Sunny, please fill out the application at OFOSA.ORG. Thank you
