Information provided by shelter staff, volunteers, and veterinarians is used to give a best estimate as to a dog’s breed make up. We do our best to inform adopters about the potential breeds for each dog.We are a dog only facility so we do not know how most of our dogs will be with cats. Even if a dog is surrendered to us and said to be good with cats there is no way to be sure the dog will be good with your cats. We do have a 7 day foster-to-adopt program so that you can see how the dog interacts with your cats before adoption.

Story
Bambino is full of energy, great with kids and genuinely just loves everyone and all other creatures. He's highly curious and trainable. He loves to run, so a fenced yard would be ideal for him but not a must. I'm looking for a new home for him because my and I both are in the peak of our careers and have little time. He is kennel trained while we are away and sometimes prefers the kennel at night so he knows it's not play time and can rest. We've been feeling guilty about not being able to give him the time, energy, and dedication that he deserves. He is 2 years old, does pretty well being house trained, but needs reminders. He is registered pure breed long hair chihuahua. Up to date on vaccines and I have all of his paperwork. Originally paid $2000, the rehoming fee is negotiable, but trying to offset the costs of vaccs and boarding costs the past couple months for him while we travel for work.
