He is working on housebreaking.  He usually keeps his kennel clean, but I am gone long days and some days it is just too long for him. He would not be a good fit in an apartment as he does tend to bark when in his kennel.  Hardy loves being with my dogs and is less anxious when they are around. He is good with my other dogs, but would need a very dog-savvy cat and he might like to chase. My fat cat ignores him and all is well with him. Due to his timidness, we would say older/considerate children only. If you are looking for a dog to lounge around on the couch with you, he would be the guy.To view additional dogs available for adoption, please see our website: www.4luvofdog.org November 3, 2024, 6:27 pm

This means his knee caps luxate medially and do not stay in the patellar groove. This is a common orthopedic issue in small breed dogs. At this time it is not painful and does not cause any trouble and surgery is not recommended by his veterinarian. Some dogs will live with a medial patellar luxation their entire life with no problems, however in some dogs it can be progressive and surgical intervention may become necessary.   Freddie Barkury has stadiums full of fans!   Foster Home Feedback  10/5/24 Foster Feedback: Freddie is doing great! He is currently on a wet/dry food mix and is a few teeth short from when he first came to stay. He did very well recuperating from his dental, and is ready for his forever home! Freddie loves to cuddle and still has a penchant for human food (I give him peanut butter in his kong, cheese as a treat, and he loves chicken). He loves to sniff all the things to get the details on the neighborhood. Sometimes I think Freddie is playing detective, lol. He is not a big fan of his crate and has full access to my apartment. Freddie is dealing with some separation anxiety, which is normal, and that will ease with time. In my opinion, this this the type of dog that everyone looks for when adopting. Freddie is fully potty trained, smart, does well with meeting people, some dogs are questionable (which is normal), and loves to be near his human. 9/16/24 Foster Feedback: Freddie is such a great companion! He definitely has the Chihuahua attitude, and is well behaved. He likes to go for short walks and play a little bit with his stuffed animals. Freddie is a big fan of human food (chicken, carrots & peanut butter) and we are working on adjusting to dog food.To view additional dogs available for adoption, please see our website: www.4luvofdog.org November 7, 2024, 3:53 pm
