Story
**AVAILABLE ON-SITE FRIDAYS AND SATURDAYS ONLY** Sam is a curious, happy boy! He’s cute and playful and loves to be where the action is. He has done great in a very busy home with five children ages 1-10 years old! They actively played with him and there were no negative reactions from Sam. He will happily fit into any type of home- busy or quiet. He can play nicely with others or enjoy being the center of attention. Sam does great in his crate and has been good about doing his business outside while in foster. He eats nicely and enjoys a variety of toys that squeak or are strong for gnawing. Keeping him engaged for playtime will help him to be his best. Once comfortable, Sam is going to make the perfect little prancing friend!

Story
**AVAILABLE ON-SITE FRIDAYS AND SATURDAYS ONLY** Francisco is a chill, shy guy who once comfortable will be the best companion. He wants to be where you are, but not necessarily on you, unless that’s what you want. Francisco has done great in a very busy home with five children ages 1-10 years old! They actively played with him and there were no negative reactions from him. He’s a follower and would be fine with lots of human and animal friends, but he can also enjoy a calm lifestyle. Francisco has done great in the crate and has done his business outside each time he has been taken out in his foster home. He has very nice house manners and eats well. Francisco will be happy entertaining himself with a variety of toys that he can squeak or chomp on! He does not enjoy being on a leash, so a fenced yard is likely necessary until he gets the hang of walking on a leash. Francisco is just waiting to be the perfect companion in any home that needs those sweet longing eyes in their life!

Story
*** AVAILABLE ON-SITE ONLY FRIDAYS AND SATURDAYS *** Akira is a handsome little Chihuahua with a big personality. He seems to be fully potty trained and sleeps soundly through the night. He’s a pro at crate time—he’ll go right in without a fuss and settle down comfortably. While he hasn’t been tested much on a leash, he absolutely loves being outside and would thrive in a home where he can soak up the fresh air. Akira prefers to be the center of attention and isn’t the biggest fan of other dogs or cats. While he’s slowly getting better about having them nearby, he’d likely do best in a home where he doesn’t have to share his space with other pets. His feelings about children are unknown, so a slow introduction would be best. One of Akira’s favorite pastimes? Curling up in a cozy cat fort for naps! If you're looking for a small companion with a love for the outdoors and a unique personality, Akira might just be your perfect match. ADOPTER NOTICE: Akira has had confirmed rib fractures, which have healed to the best of their ability. He also had a major spinal injury and made a miraculous recovery (he was initially paralyzed in the hind legs), but will always have a bit of a swagger in his hind legs. He may be a little tender with firm pressure on his lower back and near his pelvis, but is fine to be picked up. I predict Akira can have very normal life after a rough start!
