*Please note* Stanley is in a foster home and not being housed at the rescue. If you'd like to meet Stanley, please fill out our online adoption application for preapproval and we can set up a meet and greet at your earliest convenience! Hi I'm Stanley! I had found myself lost and ended up scared and shutdown at Genesee County Animal Control until my friends came to bring me to Paradise! I'm a quiet low key dude that just goes with the flow! I don't need much to make me happy, perhaps some snuggles, couch time and a short daily walk. I can be a bit on the shy side, especially when it comes to putting on a collar, leash, or coat, but I am building my confidence every day! I am house and crate trained, dog and cat friendly, and would do best in a teenage or adult only home, just because loud noises and chaos is a bit much for me. A physical fenced yard might be best as I do like to look to make an escape out the door if there is an opportunity. Stanley is a mixed breed of what we think Chihuahua with unknown, maybe Carolina dog?, 27 lbs, approximately 6-7 years old, neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm and fecal negative, and on monthly preventention.
