Story
Ivy is a 5-6 year old, 10 lb girl. She came to us with her two puppies who have since been adopted. Now, it's this mama's turn! Though shy at first, as soon as she warms up, she is your shadow. She just needs patience to get to that point. Ivy is great with other dogs and cats. She is crate-trained and doing well with house-training. She enjoys sleeping in bed and snuggling up right next to you. Ivy enjoys following the other dogs around and learning from them. She is not comfortable on a leash with people she doesn't know and does REQUIRE a fenced in yard. Ivy is pretty quiet in her foster home and very low maintenance. To adopt this little girl, please apply on www.orphanannierescue.org Her adoption fee is $300, which includes her shots up-to-date, microchipping, spay, heartworm testing, and dental.

Story
Otter is a 2-year-old, 11 lb Xoloitzcuintli mix with a sweet, loving personality. She is happiest when she’s right by your side and truly enjoys being close to her people. Otter is both toy- and food-motivated and loves carrying her toys around, proudly squeaking them as she goes. She enjoys running and playing with other dogs and can happily have dog friends for playtime. However, Otter does not do well sharing resources like toys, so to truly thrive, she needs a home as an only dog. Playdates and supervised romps with other dogs are still a great fit for her! Otter is currently not comfortable walking on leash. We are actively working with her on this, but at this time she requires a securely fenced yard so she can safely exercise and explore. Otter would do best in a home that can provide consistency, patience, and lots of love—along with toys she can call her own. She is working diligently on house-training and crate-training. To adopt her, please apply on www.orphanannierescue.org Her adoption fee is $400, which includes her shots up-to-date, microchipping, spay, heartworm testing, dental cleaning, and deworming.

Story
Earl is a Xolo/Chihuahua/Shih Tzu mix puppy with an unforgettable look and a heart full of love 💙 Born on 3/20/25, he weighs around 5 lbs and is not expected to grow much more. He sports an adorable little mullet, and his tongue sticks out all the time, giving him a permanently silly, endearing expression. Earl is very affectionate and loves being held or cuddled in your lap. He enjoys playing with other small dogs, loves his toys, and is extremely food motivated - he never turns down a meal or treat! He is currently working on crate training and house training. Because of his tiny size, Earl needs frequent potty breaks. He potties every time he’s taken out, but he just can’t hold it for very long and will need continued consistency and patience. Due to his small size, we are not considering homes with dogs over 15 lbs or children under 8 years old. Earl would thrive in a calm, loving home that can provide lots of cuddles, ongoing training, and frequent potty breaks. To adopt him, please apply on www.orphanannierescue.org. His adoption fee is $500, which includes his shots up-to-date, microchipping, neuter, heartworm testing, and deworming.

Story
Spanky is a Xolo/Chihuahua/Shih Tzu mix puppy with a huge personality in a tiny body. Born on 3/20/25, he weighs around 5 lbs and is not expected to grow much more. And yes, his adorable little tongue stays out all the time, which only adds to his charm! Spanky is very affectionate and loves being held or cuddled in your lap. He enjoys playing with other small dogs, loves toys, and is extremely food motivated—mealtime is his favorite time of day! He is currently working on crate training and house training. Because of his tiny size, Spanky needs to go outside frequently. He potties every time he’s taken out, but he simply can’t hold it for long due to his age and size and will need continued consistency and patience as he grows. Due to his small size, we are not considering homes with dogs over 15 lbs. Spanky would do best in a home ready to provide lots of love, cuddles, frequent potty breaks, and ongoing training. Spanky is not yet comfortable on a leash, so he will need someone committed to working with him on that and likely providing a puppy pen outside for potty breaks if there is no fenced yard available. To adopt this little nugget, please apply on www.orphanannierescue.org His adoption fee is $500, which includes his shots up-to-date, microchipping, neuter, heartworm testing, and deworming.

Story
Dory is the sweetest 2 year old, 23 lb Xoloitzcuintli mix you’ll ever meet. She can be a little shy at first, but once she feels safe, her true personality shines - precious, silly, and full of playful charm. Dory loves toys and is often seen carrying them around or happily entertaining herself by throwing them around. Dory loves to give kisses and snuggle. She will run over to you, kiss your hand a bunch, and then go back to playing - it's really funny. Her crate is her safe space, and she genuinely enjoys relaxing in it with her toys, especially toys she can chew on. She is crate trained and making great progress with house training. Dory does wonderfully with other dogs and would likely do fine with cats as well. Having another dog in the home is a REQUIREMENT for her, as she feels safest and most confident with a canine companion. She is not yet comfortable walking on a leash, so a securely fenced yard is also REQUIRED to allow her to potty and explore safely. Dory is truly special and will thrive in a patient, loving home that understands her gentle nature. With the right environment, she will make an incredibly loving and joyful companion. Because she is a shy girl, she would be happiest in a home without young children. To adopt her, please apply on www.orphanannierescue.org Her adoption fee is $350, which includes her shots up-to-date, microchipping, spay, heartworm testing, and dental cleaning.
