Apply online at www.lolasrescue.com Meet Cuete, the Quirky Clown Looking for His Forever Family! If you're looking for a one-of-a-kind companion, Cuete is your guy! This lovable adult Xoloitzcuintli (Mexican Hairless dog) is 37lbs of personality, charm, and quirks. Cuete is the type of dog that will keep you laughing with his funny antics, but he also has a soft, affectionate side that's all about bonding with his humans. Cuete is a bit of an independent spirit and much prefers the company of his people over other dogs. He can coexist with other dogs, but slow, patient introductions are key to his comfort. Cuete does have a tendency to claim his space (and his toys!) and isn’t a fan of sharing, so a home without small children would be ideal. When he's not stealing the spotlight with his antics, Cuete is an expert counter surfer and has no problem hopping over 4ft fences (he’s got some serious jumping skills!). He’s crate trained and mostly potty trained, though he does enjoy letting his voice be heard from time to time—apartment living might require some patience with his barking. Cuete is currently working through some skin issues, and his biopsy has shown a possible autoimmune endocrine condition that may require medication and careful experimentation with diet and soothing remedies. His future family should be understanding and patient as we continue to monitor and treat his condition. If you’re an experienced dog owner who can offer Cuete the love and attention he deserves—and a little space for his quirky personality—he just might be the perfect fit for you! Story
Milo is a 7 (?) year old male chihuahua mix.  He's timid around new people but is loving and playful once you've gained his trust.  He's a goofy boy with tons of personality.  He likes to play with other smaller dogs but is a bit fearful of high-energy larger dogs.  Milo would do best in a quieter household without young children.  His favorite things are going for walks and his stuffed giraffe.  He also loves to snuggle up with his human on the couch or in bed.  Milo is filled with love to share with a person or family who will give him a chance.February 8, 2025, 9:41 pm

Story
See that girl, watch her preen, Annie’s our prancing queen!!!  Meet Annie a 2 year old chihuahua mix. Annie is a joyful noodle girl who loves to play. Annie seems to be learning what it is like to live in a house with human friends for the first time. She has mastered snuggling on the couch, playing with her foster brother and how squeaky toys work. She knows sit and is working on her leash skills and potty training, this girl will have it down in no time! Annie is gaining confidence day by day but new people and city noises are still a little scary.  Annie loves hanging out with her small foster brother and would do great in a home with or without another small pup. She's also cat friendly! Annie is still learning how to show affection to her human friends, so she would be best in a house with no or older children. She is such a sweet pup who is so ready to be loved. Story
Meet Gizmo, the powder-puff Chinese Crested dog who brings a spark of joy wherever he goes. This tiny dude with a larger-than-life personality is the epitome of fun-loving and goofy. Gizmo loves to sleep under blankets with his favorite humans, providing the coziest companionship. As a true velcro dog, he attaches himself to his favorite human. Famous for dancing in circles, skipping downstairs like a tripod, and howling cutely at sirens, Gizmo never fails to make everyone smile. While he enjoys his walks, he truly loves riding in his doggie backpack, taking in the world from a comfy perch. Gizmo is mostly potty trained, rides great in the car, and will jump right in. He loves tummy rubs and knows how to 'sit'. Gizmo is a superstar at the groomers, where everyone adores him, and he's just as well-behaved at the vet and dentist. This little charmer loves being on camera, always ready to make you laugh with his antics. Gizmo enjoys the company of adults and older children and is a friend to other dogs. He is curious about cats, often because they are larger than him. He can get a bit anxious and shake like any little guy, and he might mark if he feels threatened, but he will wear a doggie wrap when exploring new friendships. Gizmo wears clothes to protect his little bare back from sunburn and loves to cuddle in his favorite sweaters to keep warm during cold days. He loves to bask in sunshine, soaking up warmth and spreading happiness to all around him. He is a true companion pet and will provide more love than you can imagine. Gizmo is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming ##378867##
