Story
Rusty is a mellow quite and well mannered 13 pound long hair Chihuahua, possibly Pom Mix that looks like a little FOX>. He was picked up by a kill shelter as a stray and no one came to claim him. He is about 6.5 yrs old and would make a great lap dog. He likes his food his soft bed and takes treats from you ever so gently. Rusty is calm and would flourish in home where he can sit on your lap and follow you around He is good riding in the car and good walking on leash. He would be ok as an only dog or with other gentle dogs. We had him neutered, microchipped and all his shots. Adoption fee is $300 Please email Alphadogpetrescue@yahoo.com to request our adoption application. Right now he is in a foster home near Rancho Cucamonga.,

Story
Peque has been surrendered by her owner because the owner has health issues and can't take care of her anymore. She is amazing and sweet. She has even had some training and was featured as the "Best Dog" in the class! The Chihuahua is a tiny dog with a huge personality. A national symbol of Mexico, these alert and amusing "purse dogs" stand among the oldest breeds of the Americas, with a lineage going back to the ancient kingdoms of pre-Columbian times. The Chihuahua is a balanced, graceful dog of terrier-like demeanor. The rounded "apple" head is a breed hallmark. The erect ears and full, luminous eyes are acutely expressive. Coats come in many colors and patterns, and can be long or short. The varieties are identical except for coat. Chihuahuas possess loyalty, charm, and big-dog attitude. Even tiny dogs require training, and without it this clever scamp will rule your household like a little Napoleon. Compact and confident, Chihuahuas are ideal city pets. but Chihuahuas are adaptable' as long as they get lots of quality time. Please fill out our online application and our adoption counselor will reach out to you to discuss meeting your new family member. Adoptions happen quickly. Please be ready to adopt before you apply.
