I am in a foster home and not at the shelter. If you are interested in adopting, submit an adoption questionnaire by email. Learn more hereMeet Xipe, the sweet and endearing puppy who’s looking for a loving family to help him build confidence and trust. At almost 10 months old, Xipe might be a bit shy and may initially freeze or cower when approached too quickly. But don’t let that fool you—underneath his reserved exterior is a playful and loving pup who thrives with patience and gentle encouragement. Xipe’s sweet nature shines through once he feels comfortable. He’s incredibly affectionate and finds joy in human company. His strong motivation for treats makes him eager to learn, and he’s already mastered commands like "sit," "leave it," "house," and "couch." He’s also crate trained, which helps him feel secure and at ease in his environment. Living harmoniously in foster with four cats and three other dogs, Xipe is friendly and gets along well with his furry companions. His playful spirit and treat motivation make him an enthusiastic learner and a fun addition to any home. Xipe will do best with another confident, friendly dog in the home to show him the ropes. Potential adopters should be ready to continue Xipe’s socialization journey with consistent positive reinforcement training. With your patience and love, Xipe will flourish into the confident, joyful companion he’s meant to be. If you’re ready to offer a safe and nurturing environment for this wonderful pup, Xipe is eager to find his forever family and show you just how loving and fun he can be! Story
Meet Princess, a 3-year-old Chihuahua with a royal flair and a heart as big as her title! This Spanish-speaking seorita came to us with her two sisters, Catrina and Fluffy, after her previous human could no longer care for them due to health issues. Princess is a little queen who gets along well with other pups and might even grace a cat with her friendship. She's looking for a patient palace with adults or older children where she can relax and let her charming personality shine. Princess would do wonderfully solo or alongside one (or both!) of her sisters for company. If you're ready to roll out the red carpet and make her feel like royalty, Princess is more than ready to rule your heart!November 3, 2024, 2:04 pm

Story
Say hello to Catrina, a 3-year-old Chihuahua with a little sass and a heart full of love! This sweet girl came to us with her sisters, Fluffy and Princess, after their owner could no longer care for them due to health issues. Catrina would do best in an adult-only home where she can relax and let her charming personality shine. She's just as happy to be adopted solo or with one (or both!) of her sisters to keep her company. If you're looking for a tiny best friend with a big heart, Catrina is ready to snuggle her way right into your life!November 3, 2024, 2:04 pm
