Learn more hereMeet Xipe, the sweet and endearing puppy who’s looking for a loving family to help him build confidence and trust. At almost 10 months old, Xipe might be a bit shy and may initially freeze or cower when approached too quickly. But don’t let that fool you—underneath his reserved exterior is a playful and loving pup who thrives with patience and gentle encouragement. Xipe’s sweet nature shines through once he feels comfortable. He’s incredibly affectionate and finds joy in human company. His strong motivation for treats makes him eager to learn, and he’s already mastered commands like "sit," "leave it," "house," and "couch." He’s also crate trained, which helps him feel secure and at ease in his environment. Living harmoniously in foster with four cats and three other dogs, Xipe is friendly and gets along well with his furry companions. His playful spirit and treat motivation make him an enthusiastic learner and a fun addition to any home. Xipe will do best with another confident, friendly dog in the home to show him the ropes. Potential adopters should be ready to continue Xipe’s socialization journey with consistent positive reinforcement training. With your patience and love, Xipe will flourish into the confident, joyful companion he’s meant to be. Meet me at the mobile adoption event on Saturday, November 23rd at Woodlands Pet Food & Treats Novato from 12-3pm (unless adopted before 3pm). An onsite sign-in sheet will open one hour before the event.Bisou is a dainty little Chihuahua mix that has cute little brindle feet and a curl in her tail. She is used to being held but doesn't love it for too long, as she prefers to be next to you or on your lap. She still needs more practice on meeting new people confidently. She has had great social opportunities while in foster care and is slowly overcoming her shyness. Since her sibling has been adopted, she has started to be vocal when left alone for too long and definitely will need more work on being independent at times. We think once she finds a patient, loving home, her personality will open up when given one on one attention. She's very much still a puppy and will need guidance, training and of course, lots of love. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: Black Brindle Weight: 4.63 Age: 0yrs 3mths 3wks

(From my foster home)Westley is the sweetest "Chiweenie" (Chihuahua/dachshund mix) who was found as a stray in the Central Valley. He is white with subtle tan markings. He's tiny - maybe 4-5lbs, and a bit shy around new people. I think he hasn't had much exposure to kind hands but he still is drawn to people and opens up within a few hours. He always looks worried. He also is very interested in dogs and I think he would love an older sibling around his size. Westley is a typical playful, happy puppy. He loves soft chew toys and has discovered a tiny soccer ball that is his prized possession. He's medium energy when he's not sound asleep. He's doing great with crate training and potty training - he stays in an xpen overnight and when unsupervised and uses potty pads in the xpen as a last resort, but is starting to hold it longer and longer until he is taken outside. He loves his plush donut bed and loves to burrow under a soft blankie. He's not very vocal but will occasionally join in an alarm bark with his foster siblings.Because he is so tiny I don't think a home with young children would work unless they are VERY gentle. I also think a very chaotic home might be too much for this little guy. Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Lemon Weight: 5.38 Age: 0yrs 0mths 11wks
