Story
Last year, I was contacted by an acquaintance about a Xoloitzcuintli, about 1 years old, needing to be re-homed. The owner was a young woman who lived in a mobile home Estates, worked long shifts and had young children. She could not longer care for this dog. Seeing the health condition of the dog, I decided to take her home with me and took her to the vet the next day. I had noticed that her dew claws were very swollen and infected and she had tape worm. She has had surgery to remove her dew claws, worms have been treated, and she is spayed, along with all of her vaccinations being up to date. She was never house trained and I believe requires professional training, positive reinforcement and patience to work with her on this. Very high energy dog! Very sweet, good with other dogs and has lived with my family (with 3 children of varying ages.)

These pups are in Lodi, California too!

Story
BUSTER comes from a semi-hoarding situation where he spent his entire life from birth in a tiny pet carrier along with his siblings. He has come a long way with socialization and would flourish with the right guardian. He would love to be a lap-dog and also enjoys exploring outside. (Also from the same situation: CHEWY) They are very affectionate and would just like a place to call home and a Person to call family. Since these boys have had to "fight" for lap-space and attention, they have a tendency to mark territory which should die down after they are neutered (part of adoption contract). They are used to using potty pads and have learned to also go outside, but they will all still need some work with potty training. Once they are neutered and have a lap of their own that they don't have to "defend", potty training should be a cinch. This crew also would work really well in a FOSTER home that can give them more socialization, potty training, and household manners such as barking. Specifically, we really NEED A FOSTER during the months of JUNE & JULY while I am out of town for a 7-week dog-training seminar. Please hit us up if you have any interest in BUSTER or his crew! ADOPTION FEE: Cost of neuter at clinic of your choice. Valley Canine Specialists Admin@ValleyCanine.org (209)280-0892
