Story
Meet Luna 🌙
Luna is a gorgeous long-haired Chihuahua with a big love for life packed into a tiny 7-pound body. She’s an active little lady—quick on her feet and always ready for playtime—but once she’s had her fun, she’s more than happy to curl up and cuddle.
She’s fully house trained, enjoys spending time outdoors, and has a calm, quiet nature for a Chihuahua (not yappy!). Luna can be a bit shy at first and takes a minute to warm up, but once she feels safe, her sweet personality shines through.
Because she loves to run and explore, Luna will need a home that’s mindful about doors and outdoor safety. She would absolutely thrive in a home with another playful dog to help her burn off energy and build confidence.
Luna is looking for a loving home that will give her patience, playtime, and plenty of cozy snuggles. If you’re searching for a small dog with both spark and sweetness, Luna may be your perfect match. 💕🐾
Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard.
If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home.
HOW TO APPLY: From Petfinder.com The fastest way to get to the adoptable dog page is to copy and then paste this link into your browser: https://unitedanimalfriends.org/adoptable-dogs/
When you are on the UAF website Select "Adoptable Dogs" and pick the dog you are interested in. To apply to adopt, go into the dog's profile, and click the gray "Apply for Adoption" button to get started.
