Nebula and her sister Nova came to us when their mama, Starr, was in labor. The babies were born August 8, 2024. Mama was a small wired hair terrier that weighed 10lbs. Both puppies look just like mama, only Nova is gray and white (her sister and mom were black and white) Nova was the first born. Nova is a little more cautious and shy compared to her sister. She likes to assess her situation unlike Nebula that jumps right in. Nebula is fearless and loves to play with other dogs. Nebula is also a little more affectionate. Both girls have done well with potty training. A perfect addition to your holidays!

Story
Meet Heidi! Heidi is a sweet 10 year old wore-haired terrier mix. Heidi, although older is a bundle of energy! She twirls when excited and has a such a sweet, playful disposition. Heidi is house-trained, great with dogs of all ages. Perfect with kids both young and old and even likes cats! She was surrendered to the Fort Worth Shelter as a Euthanasia request due to her elder owners no longer being able to care for her. She recently had a mass removed from her right side but is all healed up and ready for her forever home. Heidi is great on a leash but be careful to leash her inside before a walk as she will take off running without one! You’d never guess she was 10 yo by how quickly she can sprint down the street! lol. Heidi-Ho loves sleeping on your lap but at the same time, she isn’t a Velcro dog and is perfectly happy lounging alone. Heidi was taught the cutest beg command and resembles Lady from the Disney movie when a treat is presented. She currently has a short hair cut from her recent surgery but her top coat is a white curly wire hair and is so beautiful. Please consider Heidi for your family! A perfect pup!To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. Story
Danielle aka Coco is a sweet, comical little girl. She loves being petted and is quick to offer her belly for tummy rubs. She enjoys tearing around the backyard, at breakneck speed but stops after a couple of laps. She loves playing with her foster buddy, Marvin (aka Vinnie), but she can sometimes challenge other small dogs. She will also initially challenge larger dogs, but stops after being put in her place a time or two with a bark from the larger dog. Coco was returned for nipping at a baby but she was okay with toddlers in her foster home when she returned to our program. Because of her history, I would not recommend placing her with babies or children under the age of 6 or so. A trial period with any other dogs in the home would be recommended. She could also be an only dog and be perfectly happy. She loves people. ****Prior to filling out an application or contacting RHS, please completely read the instructions below.**** ALL ADOPTERS/FOSTERS MUST LIVE WITHIN 60 MILES OF RICHARDSON, TX.
