Lucky came from a large hoarding case in Anderson county. Over 60 small breed dogs were pulled from the home after the owner died. We estimate his age to be 2 years and he weighs 14 lbs. Lucky has had little human contact due to the number of animals in the home. He wants attention but is also very shy. He would do best in a quiet home with older children and calm pets. Lucky was not house trained as the dogs were never left outside so his owner will need to work with her on that. Lucky is available for adoption in Knoxville, TN and his fee is $250. Prior to adoption, he will be neutered, microchipped, vaccinated. He is heartworm negative and on prevention.

Story
Toby is a terrier mix, possibly Cairn Terrier or Yorkie? He approximately 8 years old. This older guy is amazing in so many ways! Why? Because he's accomplished all of this and he is completely BLIND!! Toby has mastered the dog door in just two days. He is housetrained and navigates the house like he's always lived there. He is crate trained and sleeps in it through the night. Toby walks incredibly well on leash and loves going for walks and car rides. He greets new dogs and people like old friends. Toby loves meal time and will head to his crate once he knows food is coming. Don’t let his blindness stop you from considering this very sweet boy. Toby is fairly independent and as long as he knows where you are, all is good. If he doesn’t, he’ll let out a little cry and once he hears your voice he settles down. Toby is available for adoption in Knoxville, TN and his adoption fee is $150.

We estimate his age to be 8 years and he weighs 14 lbs. Ferris has had little human contact due to the number of animals in the home. He wants attention but is also very shy. He would do best in a quiet home with older children and calm pets. Ferris was not house trained as the dogs were never left outside so his owner will need to work with him on that. Ferris is available for adoption in Knoxville, TN and his fee is $150. He has had senior bloodwork, neuter, microchip, vaccines. She is heartworm negative and on prevention.
