Before coming to the rescue, Benji lived life outdoors and had some hair loss, but now he’s on the mend—his scruffy coat is growing back in, and it just adds to his charm! He’s currently learning all the good stuff about being a spoiled house pup, like potty training, walking on a leash, and discovering how amazing cozy beds and fun toys can be. Sweet momma, Utopia and her five day old pups were one day away from being euthanized in a small south Texas animal control. Momma was scared and protective of her babies for a few days before she realized they were safe. NOW she is THE sweetest and most loving girl!! She needs a patient family, she is so happy with her foster mom but needs a confident and easy going family. She likely would do best with another confident dog.... she just needs to know you before she will just relax and get comfortable in your home. She is worth the wait :) She is doing good with potty training and is good with dogs and cats. She likes going for drives and walks good on a leash. She's got the cutest little tuft of fur on her head. She's smart and likes to play. Mama is likely a long haired/wire haired dachshund/terrier mix and the pups have the low rider qualities with heeler markings- ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE!! All pups adopted, just mama waiting!!!! Hello everyone, this lovely girl is Eve she was adopted from scpa in 2018 and she’s been a joy to have around. She loves walks, loves to play, is clingy, talkative, smart, and has never shown aggression to children (for context we had her around the time i was in middle school and my siblings were in elementary). However she has shown aggression for other dogs/cats. unfortunately as time passed we simply had schedules that conflicted with taking care of Eve. She needs a lot of care and i would love if we could find someone with a gated backyard, because she loves being outside for long periods of time, and who can have enough time to show her the love she deserves. If you’d think you’re able to give her a new home to cherish please contact me and we can discuss the transferring process. this is a very hard thing to do for us because we love her dearly so i really want to make sure we find a great new owner.
