Story
Looking for the perfect pup to share the holiday season—and all the seasons to come? Meet Cody, a 38-pound Wirehaired Terrier mix with a heart as big as his energy! Rescued from Swainsboro, Georgia, Cody is 3 years old and ready to start the next chapter of his life with a loving forever family.
Despite a rough start with a neglectful owner, Cody’s spirit remains unbroken. He adores humans and still believes his perfect match is out there. His sweet, goofy personality and zest for life will bring joy to any home.
Cody LOVES to play, especially with other dogs, and is a social butterfly on walks and at the dog park. However, his high-energy, playful nature means he would thrive as the only dog in the home, where he can be the star of the show. A fenced-in yard would be ideal for him to burn off energy with plenty of zoomies, or he’d love to join you on adventures like hiking, neighborhood strolls, or even brunch outings.
When playtime is over, Cody is all about the snuggles. He’ll curl up with you for movie nights and enthusiastically request belly rubs—his absolute favorite! Don’t be surprised if he rewards you with silly little grunts of contentment.
Cody would fit well in a home with one person or a whole family, including kids. Whether he’s your solo sidekick or part of a bigger crew, Cody is ready to bring endless love, laughter, and loyalty to his new home.
Cody is neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped.
