Story
Meet Macy, a little girl with a big personality.
Macy is a sweet, loving, affectionate, smart 3-month-old wire-haired terrier mix. She loves her donut bed but is equally happy to nap in your lap. Macy is fantastic on a leash and loves her walks, turning heads she meets people and dogs along the way.
According to her foster family, "she is well on her way to being housebroken. Her preference is to go outside, any “accidents” she’s had have been our mistake not understanding when she was letting us know she wanted to out!"
Macy is a smart girl who understands the command to sit and is very treat-motivated. She enjoys playing with toys, and chewing on a bone. She’s content on her own but prefers to hang out with her people and puppy friends. She also does well with children and cats. This girl loves to give kisses and have her belly rubbed. She can’t wait to find her forever home.
Macy is spayed, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped.

HFG Dog Rescue is a 100 percent foster-based rescue located in Berkeley Heights, NJ with a sister location, The Almost Home Wellness Center, in Aiken, SC. All of our dogs are rescued from kill shelters in SC + GA and once ready for adoption live in loving local NJ foster homes until they find forever families of their own. Our fosters begin basic training, housebreaking, and leash-walking skills to help pair you with the perfect pup for life!
