**Located in Korea** Meet Puss and Boots, a brave and charming dog with a heart of gold! Puss and Boots had a tough start in life, rescued from a dangerous snare that left his paws injured. If you're ready to open your heart and home to a courageous and affectionate dog, then Puss and Boots is waiting to embark on a new adventure with you. Story
Looking for the perfect pup to share the holiday season—and all the seasons to come? Meet Cody, a 38-pound Wirehaired Terrier mix with a heart as big as his energy! Rescued from Swainsboro, Georgia, Cody is 3 years old and ready to start the next chapter of his life with a loving forever family. Despite a rough start with a neglectful owner, Cody’s spirit remains unbroken. He adores humans and still believes his perfect match is out there. His sweet, goofy personality and zest for life will bring joy to any home. Cody LOVES to play, especially with other dogs, and is a social butterfly on walks and at the dog park. However, his high-energy, playful nature means he would thrive as the only dog in the home, where he can be the star of the show. A fenced-in yard would be ideal for him to burn off energy with plenty of zoomies, or he’d love to join you on adventures like hiking, neighborhood strolls, or even brunch outings. When playtime is over, Cody is all about the snuggles. He’ll curl up with you for movie nights and enthusiastically request belly rubs—his absolute favorite! Don’t be surprised if he rewards you with silly little grunts of contentment. Cody would fit well in a home with one person or a whole family, including kids. Whether he’s your solo sidekick or part of a bigger crew, Cody is ready to bring endless love, laughter, and loyalty to his new home. Cody is neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped. **Please note: completing an "adoption inquiry" via Adopt-a-pet/Petfinder does not constitute an HFG Dog Rescue adoption application. Story
G Man is really what we call "extra needs". As our vet said when G was examined "what a trainwreck". Upon intake, G Man had no fur on his legs and they were covered in sores. He also was having rectal prolapses frequently, not to mention some stinky breath and skin. With some awesome vet care, medicated baths, oral meds and surgery, he has morphed into quite the handsome and quirky guy that he is today. G does require daily meds for his skin (about $35 per month ) and weekly baths with a medicated shampoo. He does experience bouts of constipation but he has meds for that also. G Man is tolerant of other dogs his size, but is terrified of puppies and larger dogs. He is most comfortable sitting/sleeping beside or on top of his human. His whole world will revolve around his person and when he lays his head against your chest and at you with his eyes, you know that you are deeply loved by him! If you are interested in adopting this precious boy into your forever home, simply go to goofyfootrescue.org and fill out an application.
