G Man is really what we call "extra needs". As our vet said when G was examined "what a trainwreck". Upon intake, G Man had no fur on his legs and they were covered in sores. He also was having rectal prolapses frequently, not to mention some stinky breath and skin. With some awesome vet care, medicated baths, oral meds and surgery, he has morphed into quite the handsome and quirky guy that he is today. G does require daily meds for his skin (about $35 per month ) and weekly baths with a medicated shampoo. He does experience bouts of constipation but he has meds for that also. G Man is tolerant of other dogs his size, but is terrified of puppies and larger dogs. He is most comfortable sitting/sleeping beside or on top of his human. His whole world will revolve around his person and when he lays his head against your chest and at you with his eyes, you know that you are deeply loved by him! I haven’t fully let my playful side shine just yet, but I’m starting to learn that tasty treats like cheese and hot dogs are pretty great. What I really need, though, is a family who’s willing to go slow with me, meet me a few times to let me get comfortable, and give me the time I need to blossom. If you’re patient, kind, and ready to help me learn that people can be my friends, I just might be the perfect pup for you. I’m still new here, and I have so much to learn, but with the right home, I know I’ll find my confidence and grow into the wonderful companion I’m meant to be. Meet HOPE! 🐾 There are not enough adjectives to describe this girl!!! Amazing, beautiful, wonderful, perfect. She is all of the above. Hope came into the rescue a little while back and has been with two fosters so far that just could not get enough of her. Hope is deaf. We don’t even think the shelter she came from realized it because you most absolutely would not know it. Except boy can this girl sleep good. The only thing that gives away she is deaf is you can come home unload the groceries, load the dishwasher, do all the housework and if she is asleep she will never know you are there. Hope is PERFECT she is house trained, spayed and could not be a better dog than anyone could ask for. She is a little bit of an attention hog. Just wants to be with you 24/7. She is wonderful with other dogs but your dog better be ready to share your lap. We can’t stress enough how much this adorable girl is just the perfect package!! 💖 Personality: Goofy, playful and energetic. Hope has a wonderful temperament and gets along great with her foster mates. She is super smart and a fast learner. She will be up for learning any new tricks you might want to throw her way.
