Please contact Chandler Jaffe (chandler.jaffe@luckydoganimalrescue.org) for more information about this pet.scruffy boy looking for a home!LENNON NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name:  Lennon         Best Guess for Breed:   Wire Haired Terrier/Terrier mix    Best Guess for Age:  1 year as of December 2024         SEX:   Male   Approximate Weight:  30lbs as of December 2024   Gets Along With:   Other dogs! We haven't seen Lennon with cats or kids, but he can be tested.   Currently Living at:  Shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area!   Special adoption considerations:  Dogs from Puerto Rico have a major transition to go through when they arrive and will need humans who are very committed to socialization. We think Lennon would do best with either a resident dog or a family who can make sure he can go on walks regularly with other dogs, visit the dog park, or go to doggie daycare to learn the ropes.   Lennon is Looking For:  A family who will shower him with love! Lennon is still a young pup and would love an active family who can help him get his energy out. What do you say? Could Lennon be the next addition to your family? What My Foster Says About Me:  Coming soon! Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT:      The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. Learn more, see our list of dogs needing foster, and apply, https://www.citydogsrescuedc.org/foster-a-city-dog.html City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Washington, DC. We do not have a shelter. CDCK has a thorough adoption process to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats (we do not operate under a first-come, first-served model). Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter for dogs six months and older. We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam before adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCK. City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us. Dog specific: Rabies, DHPP, Lepto and Bordetella vaccines. They are tested for HW, Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis. Most cats and dogs will have a house-training accident in the initial days in their new home and we cannot guarantee any pet is housebroken or crate trained.
