Story
Stella and Sophie ended up in a shelter after being dumped at a winery. Lucky for these girls, Labs and More was able to take them in and now they are thriving in a foster home and ready to find their forever homes. We believe they are around 3 months old and a mix of Wirehaired Terrier and possibly Poodle. They have wispy wiry fur. Right now they are on track to be medium dogs when done growing. Sophie is looking for a family that understands the time, patience, and energy needed to raise a young pup. We require all puppy adopters to provide training that includes: house training, basic training, leash training, and socialization. Additionally, this cutie is going to need proper exercise, mental stimulation, and your attention and love to grow up to be the best companion. We do not allow our dogs or puppies to sleep or live outside; they must be incorporated into your family and be made a priority in your life. In return, you will have the most loving and loyal family member you could ask for. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting Sophie, then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! We recommend completing the questionnaire and connecting with an adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps. Your interest in adopting a rescued dog or puppy from Labs and More Rescue is appreciated! Please find our adoption information at www.labsandmore.org. Your adoption donation provides funding for Labs and More, a nonprofit organization which is supported solely by Volunteers and funded by donations. Good news is your adoption donation can be considered tax deductible. So much care is provided to your new dog prior to the adoption, including: spay and neuter, microchip, veterinarian visit(s), vaccinations, and other medical care as needed. Many of the dogs we rescue require extensive surgeries and care prior to adoption. Please understand we are unable to predict future behavior or medical needs of your adopted dog. We provide no guarantees regarding behavior, breed, or age of the dogs. Thank you for rescuing. Thank you for joining the Adoption Family with Labs and More Rescue. We are here to help you find a furry companion. You will find our quick and easy adoption application at www.labsandmore.org and click on Adopt. Please email us at I doginfo@labsandmore.org if you need assistance. Thank you for looking to a rescue group to fulfill your dream of adding a new dog to your life! She is not good with other dogs or with other animals in the home.  Lupa can be aggressive with strangers at times. Story
I adopted Luana when she was about 6 years old (now 12) from a friend that was no longer able to have a pet. She is still a very energetic and happy pup who loves her attention. She does have a couple of issues that are unbeknownst to me as to why this happens. She displays agressive behavior at times towards other dogs i.e. excessive barking and an inability to stop trying to lunge at. She has bit someone trying to restrain her from trying to rush at a dog a couple of times. Also, she will just lick her feet excessively which causes a fungal infection in her feet. When she does that, she usually itches her ear and introduces a whole new infection. She has a collapsing trachea due to loss of collagen, had a hystorectamy the of Jan 2024, and had a mastectomy Jun 2024. Other than that, she is a good loyal dog. She knows common commands like sit, lay down, speak etc.

Story
At first glance, Jax may seem a little nervous and even a bit shy, but spend a little time with this handsome guy, and you'll discover a loyal companion who will stick by your side through thick and thin. Jax is a smart boy who knows his surroundings and the people around him. He needs time and space to feel comfortable and confident in a new environment, but once he feels safe, his affectionate side emerges, and he'll be your best friend. He absolutely loves other dogs and would do amazing in a house with another furry friend. Watching other dogs teaches him so much, which will help the desensitization process of the home environment immensely. He will be dragging a leash until you can interact with him comfortably and will need a crate to keep a structured schedule. Once he settles in, though, he loves to lounge in the sun and cuddle at your feet! With his smarts, loyalty, and adorable nervousness, Jax will melt your heart and fill your home with love. If you can give Jax the love and care he needs, please meet him today! Give him a chance, and you will not regret it!
