Hi! My name is Noel. I am a 5 month old Whippet/cattle dog female that weighs around 20 Lbs. I was surrendered due to my owner not being able to continue to care for me. I am a very sweet pup who is good with cats, dogs and kids. I am still a puppy and have a lot of growing to do. I will need a family that has the time to spend training me, socializing me and give me every opportunity to be the best family companion dog I can be. My adoption fee is $125. I am spayed, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination, and boosters are to date. If you are interested in adopting me, please complete an online adoption application on our website at https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/. Once submitted RAC staff will be in touch with next steps.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. Darling is a 2.5 year old Whippet/Black Mouth Cur mix. She&#39s a little shy at first but warms up quick and is a sweetheart. She loves having dog friends to play with. The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. Our dogs are also heartworm negative (or we will cover their treatment). Story
Winston is a sweet 7 month old purebred Whippet. He has a loving and goofy personality that will always keep you entertained. He loves to run outside and explore his surroundings like a true sight hound. Hes very friendly and playful with people and other dogs but also likes to wind down and be a couch potato. He is also crate trained and can be left alone in the crate for hours at a time. The unfortunate reason Ive decided to rehome him would be due to his potty training. He knows going outside means potty time but still has not fully learned not to pee or poop inside. I fear I may not be giving him the best opportunity to succeed due to my overnight working schedule and me living in an apartment. He would probably be better suited for a home with a yard for easier access outside. Hes a very sweet boy that will need a lot of patience from his new owner. Adoption fee due to original breeder adoption fee of $2,300, but willing to negotiate current proposed fee.
