Hi! I’m Dusty, and I‘d love to meet you! Here’s all the things that will have you falling in love with me! ❤️ I adore my favorite human and will want to be by your side at all times, but in a good way. I’m a champion snuggler. ❤️ I’ll make you laugh! I love dog toys and spinning around with them to the point that make you dizzy! Check out my video as evidence. ❤️ I’ll hang with you for whatever you’ve got planned for the day. I even enjoy a little car ride! ❤️ I’m really good with most dogs and love to play with them. (A few dogs that are bigger have kinda scared me.) ❤️ I’ll sleep with you at night if you’ll let me! That’s because I love you so much! ❤️ I’m house trained, and I’m not destructive. If you’d like to meet, fill out an application. Sometimes I like slow introductions, but if you’ve got treats, I’m all yours! Dusty is neutered and fully vaccinated. Story
If you’re looking for a young, fun loving energetic new family member, Diane may be just what you need in your life. Diane’s estimated date of birth is February 10, 2024. The shelter listed Diane as a lab, but we think she has basenji and boxer traits. Whatever she is, she is C U T E. Diane has a curious personality and loves exploring the world around her. She likes playing in water from the hose and enjoys floating in the pool her foster home. We don’t know what happened early in Diane’s life. What we do know is that our local shelter put out a plea for two pups with broken bones who needed crate rest. Active Paws Rescue quickly stepped up for both. We named them Jack and Diane. Jack had a broken front paw and recovered with limited activity and rest. Diane’s case was a little more complicated. She had breaks in both back legs. Her left tibia had a nonunion that was acting like a hinge. Her right femur was misaligned and needed surgical repair. Her incredible surgeon has released her to full activity and doesn’t expect any complications. Diane is fully vetted and has started her house training. She is doing well in her kennel but will need supervision to be successful in her new home. Diane will do best in a home with a fenced yard and a dog with a similar activity level.
