Introducing Miss Luna! This sweet girl is a 6-month-old, 22-pound, Whippet/Terrier mix. Luna has a beautiful white coat with tan markings and perfect little ears. She was rescued from a kill shelter in Swainsboro, Georgia with her siblings Athena, Phantom, and Toast, and they are all so lucky to be alive!
Luna has not let her start to life dampen her energy - she is a refreshing ball of energy! She is always on the move and ready to go for any exploring or adventure. Luna loves to have fun and is not afraid to try new things. She loves romping around outside and playing with toys, old or new.
Luna makes friends with everyone she meets including kids, cats, and dogs. Her exuberant energy shines immediately whether she is trying to give you hugs, kisses, or ask for a belly rub. Luna would love to be a kid's best friend and go on all kinds of imagination adventures too! She truly is up for anything to have fun! She’s perfecting her leash/crate training skills and is improving daily. After having a blast during the day, Luna is more than ready to snuggle and settle down. She loves to cuddle with her friends but snuggling with her forever family is what she is dreaming of. HFG Dog Rescue is a 100 percent foster-based rescue located in Berkeley Heights, NJ with a sister location, The Almost Home Wellness Center, in Aiken, SC. All of our dogs are rescued from kill shelters in SC + GA and once ready for adoption live in loving local NJ foster homes until they find forever families of their own. Our fosters begin basic training, housebreaking, and leash-walking skills to help pair you with the perfect pup for life!
