Story
This rare Southern beauty is a Whippet mix and she is named Miss Emma Kate. She is a delicately built 1 year old girl that weighs a light 19 pounds and is beautifully marked with a rich brindle coat of short fur.  Car rides are her fav thing to go on and she rides like she has done it all her life. This baby girl is a true cuddler and loves to be around people. She is very good on a leash and is crate trained with no fussing.  Emma Kate a very smart girl that is always willing to learn things and to be taught all sorts of commands. She uses the doggie door at her foster home, and mover makes a mess in the house.  She is easy going with all the dogs in the foster home and doesn’t  make any mess in the house.  She is iffy with cats so we are saying that would be a NO.   She is spayed , up-to-date on all vaccinations microchip and heartworm negative and has prevention.   If  you are looking for a young small, smart and loving girl then Emma Kate will make you very happy! ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.March 12, 2025, 9:47 pm

Story
🐾 Meet Coco – The Sweetest Little Old Lady Looking for Her Forever Home! 🐾 Coco is a 9-year-old Whippet mix who has been through more than any dog ever should, but despite her past, she has the biggest heart. Rescued from severe neglect and abuse, Coco is extremely fearful but never aggressive—she’s just a gentle soul learning to trust again. She absolutely adores other dogs but is more likely to curl up for a nap than engage in play—she’s a true cuddle bug at heart. Coco is currently around 27-28 lbs, though she could comfortably settle at 30 lbs. When she first came to me, she was heartbreakingly emaciated, but she’s been making great progress, slowly gaining weight and confidence! Since she’s naturally lean, her ideal weight will always reflect her elegant Whippet mix build. Because I have no medical history on her, she will need an adopter who is willing to help her with routine vet care and possible dental work.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. DEXTER was saved and cared for by Muscat Dog Adoption, before sending him with other saved dogs to Give a Dog a Home Rescue in Sebec, Maine. They arrived in the US on 28th January 2025 and were transported to the rescue where they are settling in. DEXTER was cleared by the US canine center for diseases upon entry into the US. He is neutered, rabies, core vaccines, heartworm and tick tested negative, is on monthly preventatives, microchipped, weighs around 34 pounds and has an estimated date of birth or 16 September 2022. DEXTER's story is that he was rescued in January 2023 with his sister as young pups in a high traffic area around a lot of hotel complex's where dogs are not welcome and often shot or run over. They were taken to Muscat Dog Adoption Rescue where they were cared for until homes or transfer to another rescue was found. His sister was adopted and Dexter was lucky enough to come over to the US for his forever family to find him. Stray dogs in Oman are referred to as "Wadi Dogs" and are a mix of the popular sighthound breeds, specifically thought to be descendents of the majestic Saluki and other smaller breeds, many resembling whippets with their small agile frames. If not saved these dogs are often shot or brutally ran over and left for dead. We are looking for families that have the lifestyle that the dog needs to lead a healthy, both mentally and physically life, who can afford a GOOD quality food, toys and treats and understand the importance of veterinary wellness checks. DEXTER is available for adoption for an adoption fee of $300, as noted he is located at the rescue in Sebec, Maine and families are required to complete and submit an  adoption application and when approved schedule an appointment to come to the rescue to meet and hopefully take home this sweet boy. Applications are processed with 24 hours of them being received. She is spayed, rabies, core vaccines, heartworm and tick tested negative, is on monthly preventatives, microchipped, weighs around 33 pounds and has an estimated date of birth or 5 November 2022. HATTIE's story is that she was found as a young pup in a busy tourist area in Muscat where dogs are either shot or run over and left for dead. Sadly her mother and all 5 of her siblings had been shot and she was the only survivor. Hattie was taken to a wonderful Omani lady who cared for along with a lot of other dogs. Whilst she spent most of her time in a large crate where she could stand and stretch and was taken out for bathroom breaks. She only got to go on walks twice a week when volunteers would come and help with the dogs.
