Story
Ever see 23 lbs of love and happiness to see you? Meet Willow! In her short 13 months on earth, Willow has survived a lifetime of hard knocks. She was found on the side of the road injured, by what is assumed to be a car accident. No owners around and needing help, Willow was picked up by the city pound.... Despite having serious injuries (2 pelvic fractures and a open ankle wound), Willow was so sweet and thankful for help, she won the attention of the staff and a spot on their Facebook page pleading for help for this gem of a gal. Willow is on the timid, submissive side, but warms up very quickly with a few sweet words of encouragement and LOVE. Through bandage changes, cleanings, shots, exams, Willow remains happy and easy going with body wags, you'd never know she has injuries! That being said she is on crate rest and meds for her injuries and is expected to make a full recovery! Yay! She loves people and other dogs and is cautiously curious about cats. In time she will be friends with them too. SO, If you are looking for a loving, happy go lucky dog, look no further. Willow is your sweetheart! She is a wonderful girl with the heart of gold you have been looking for :) Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Mojito - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Hey all you fabulous people out there, I'm Mojito and I'm here searching for a family, a home...one that I can call my very own!! And since you're reading this I'm hoping maybe just maybe it could be with YOU?!! My name is Mojito but I'm sometimes called Meathead, Dammit, Get Down, Stop That and Mojo. And I answer to all of them!!! My foster mom wants you to know: He is very loving and wants to sit in your lap! I think he will do well with older kids. He will need someone that will be home most of the time. He has learned how to stay in a crate but is not happy about it. He does sleep in a crate at night and usually does well. He also identifies as a cat and loves to climb so he can see everything that goes on. He will get things off the counter if left alone. I didn't have a very good start in life and as a result have some separation anxiety but we have been working really hard and I'm really doing so much better. But my ideal home would be where my person works from home. I'm a youngster yet of around a year old and come in at the top end of the small category of about 25lbs. That is a pawsomely perfect size for...everything! Neighborhood strolls, nature hikes, co-piloting errand runs, supervising yardwork, you name it, I'm just right for the job at hand!! Playful and sweet, active and adventurous, I've got some great qualities ready to share with my very own family. I am so ready to be that lil heartbeat at your feet or on your lap! If you're ready for an active lil buddy to share in your life's adventures all you need to do is stop scrolling and fill out my adoption application. You can find it at haydudeequine.org

Story
Cash & his litter mates had a rough start to life. They were found on a back country road with no houses around. They were in very rough shape, skin & bones, mangy but still FULL of happiness when greeted with a human. Cash is now a healthy, happy pup that loves attention & cuddles & hugs. He's looking for a home who has the patience to help him learn his house manners and that will enjoy watching him grow into the best dog he can be! Cash had a terrible case of demodectic mange when he/she came into our rescue. He/she has been treated, but his/her hair is still slowly growing back and that's why in the pictures it might appear that he/she looks like they have been nibbled on by a moth. Demodectic mange, frequently referred to as Demodex or "red mange", is the most common form of mange in dogs. Demodectic mange most often occurs in puppies with immature immune systems, allowing the number of skin mites to multiply rapidly. It's not contagious to other dogs or humans, and it is easily treatable but can be a lengthy process. There are several different medications (oral and topical) that are used to treat Demodex. Medicated baths are helpful and soothing to help the puppy feel less irritated. However, the very best treatment above everything else is low stress and lots of TLC. We also suggest food that is for skin conditions. This sweet puppy is ready for a home of her very own but please be sure and do your own research about Demodex to make sure you're comfortable with it. We've treated probably thousands of puppies and adults with Demodex and in the most severe cases, the hair might grow back splotchy in places, but the recovery is full and when treated properly, Demodex leaves no long-term health issues. Visit our website to see our weekend Events here! Pups with the designated “meet me” next to their names are in CT and ready to attend adoption events. Please check with your adoption coordinator if you are interested in a specific dog prior to coming to an event, as a dog's availability to attend can change at any time. We can not guarantee approval on site at the events, so we recommend applying ahead of time. You can apply at the event, but the application process may not be able to be completed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pup’s at the event! The adoption fee is $500 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. This dog tested negative for heartworms. If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com. Story
Meet Cassidy, the Charming Introvert! Get ready to fall in love with Cassidy, a pale white pup with captivating puppy eyes and a heart-shaped nose. Despite a challenging past where he navigated the streets and scrounged for survival, Cassidy's resilience shines through. Now, he's on a mission to find a loving home where he can feel safe and cherished. Cassidy is a dog with a gentle and timid personality. Loud noises and intense reactions make him nervous, and he prefers a calm and serene environment. He needs time to warm up to people and build trust before he feels comfortable and secure. This smart little guy knows some tricks already and is a well-mannered companion during feeding time. He's polite and respectful, showing his intelligence and willingness to please. Sitting on command is just one of the many tricks he has mastered. When it comes to relaxation, Cassidy's favorite spot is snuggled up on the couch or bed. He loves cozy naps and enjoys sleeping in when it's chilly or rainy outside. His head and ears are the sweet spots for scratches and cuddles, and he might even roll over for a belly rub! Cassidy is searching for someone who will shower him with love and understanding. While he respects cats and tolerates other dogs, he prefers his own space and will often retreat to a separate room. However, when the other dogs are not around, he comes out for attention and cuddles. He enjoys the quiet company of a select few men, seeming to have a preference for quieter individuals. It's important to note that Cassidy is not a fan of chaos, whether it's caused by humans or other dogs. He seeks a serene and calm environment where he can feel at ease. Car rides are a pleasure for him, as long as he is the sole rider and not in a crowded car with other dogs. To provide Cassidy with his ideal home, a single, quiet man with no other dogs or possibly a submissive dog that Cassidy meets and approves of would be the perfect match. An at-home social life that aligns with his introverted nature is preferable. While Cassidy tends to avoid general interaction and may not seek pets, hugs, or kisses, he has his moments of affection when he feels comfortable. Cassidy may be an introverted hermit, but beneath his reserved exterior lies a dog yearning for love and understanding. If you're someone who appreciates the quiet moments and can provide a calm and peaceful environment, Cassidy will reward you! (Only) Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)
