Meet June! She is a very active and affectionate dog, she loves to go for a walk on a leash and discover new places, she is usually invaded when she meets a new dog, and she jumps on people with tremendous joy, she is very sociable and obedient, but when she plays she usually behaves like puppy, he loves balls, cloth toys, rope toys, and he really likes to play with puppies. She was abandoned the day she had her 12 puppies, the "owner" went to throw the babies on the hill while June desperately looked for them where she thought her home was, the person who asked us for support to give her shelter and care told us that She went for her puppies, and they were in a box, under the sun, and there were 4 dead puppies in a bag, together with her 8 brothers, the girl took them down to her house so that June was with them, but when we arrived by they only had 5 puppies alive since he brought them back up the hill. June is currently healthy, happy, and chubby. The $350.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to San Diego, CA. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Tick control up to date. Microchip. Microchip registration to new owner paid for. Collar. Temporary leash. The adoption fee does not include transportation to North of San Diego

We rescued our beloved Penny (whippet/hound mix) 6 years ago when she was ~1 year old. Her early history is unknown, but she has become a wonderful companion. Personality: Shy around tall men with hats but warms up quickly. Extremely affectionate/goofy; LOVES to cuddle. Energy: Medium. When she’s not relaxing, she loves to play, go on walks and chase laser lights. Training: Good on leash (needs reminders around other dogs); Crate-trained; Knows many commands (occasionally pretends she doesn’t hear!); Will learn more tricks for treats!; Great car companion; Excellent watchdog. Health: Spayed, up to date monthly flea/tick/heart worm medications; She has skin allergies but has responded well to immunotherapy. Care for her skin is now minimal. Penny’s ideal home is an active one with no small children; a home that loves hiking/long walks and snuggling; a home where Penny is the center of attention and gets lots of love/cuddles. He is a big guy who is a little lanky so has been learning all about leash walking and how to act in a home environment.   He will happily be your shadow, he will check out the yard to make sure it's safe and will happily walk wherever you want to go. Teddy does well with other dogs .but prefers the bigger pups to play along with. He is house trained and a great dog through and through! YiYi is immediately at risk of being euthanized and we want to get her but we need to secure a foster. Help us save her by opening your heart and your home!! Her current owners moved into a senior community and their new neighbors have already taken action and poor YiYi will not be allowed there. Most likely, the community CC&Rs have stated rules and regulations about dogs made even more strict by the 'senior living' aspect. There's not much that can be done without an expensive -not guaranteed- battle. At that point, the best alternative that was concluded for YiYi's future was for her to be put down. Put down?!? What?!? That's no future... Ughh.. sometimes there are no words. None of that matters anymore. It's in the past. We want to help her have a future.
