Story
Meet Clair! She’s mostly housebroken and will use a pee pad. We are working on getting her closer to 100% on this. She needs insulin twice a day which is easy to administer. She’s good with dogs. Probably best with dogs that are more her size (mine are 5# or less).Unknown about cats and kiddos. Good on a leash, working on crate training. She has some (understandable) separation anxiety I believer Clair was a stray before arriving at the shelter. She was super skinny and matted to the skin poor thing. Yet still VERY sweet and even a cuddler. She loves her some rawhide chews. Indifferent to toys. VERY food motivated so easy to train.Clair is around 10 yo so has a mellow, calm temperament. Not high energy unless left alone, then anxious.Clair is a beautiful girl, people stop to ask about her. She’s always friendly with new people and other dogs. And a big cuddle bug who gives a soft, deep throated sigh of contentment when she snuggles in.

Story
ABOUT RO RESCUE: We take in "broken" dogs. Our aim is to help them both physically and mentally. BRANDY is one of our successes. BRANDY is a sweet 14 lb cockapoo mix. Our veterinarian places her age at about 8-10 years old. Please read this entire description, before submitting an inquiry. ORIGIN:BRANDY was a rescue at a local shelter. She was in need of several surgeries to address prior neglect and abuse. We assume that she was used as a breeder dog. HEALTH: After seeking veterinary care to address some of Brandy's health issues, Our veterinarian declared her "fit as a fiddle" and ready to look for a forever home. BRANDY's PERSONALITY: This girl is an absolute sweetheart and did not deserve her awful past experiences before coming to RoRescue. She bonds to her owner quickly. BRANDY does not necessarily need a doggie companion, but a friendly comparable size and age dog would be nice and ease her separation anxiety RORESCUE NOTES: We are looking for an "forever" adopter who will give BRANDY a safe loving home and keep her "forever" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ At RoRescue, we strive to match the dog's personality to the best possible future home. This, in no way, casts judgement on the potential adopter. Our primary concern is the dog's future safety, health and happiness. ALL RORESCUE DOGS are vet checked, spayed/neutered, dental cleaning (if needed), microchipped and UTD on shots. We do NOT adopt to: * out-of area or out of state locations. * homes where someone smokes cigarettes inside the home * homes without a secure fenced yard. * homes with chain link or wrought iron view fences with wide spaces * homes without a safety fence around their pool NOT DONE: Full blood panel/Valley Fever/Tick Fever/Heartworm testing is NOT customarily done, unless veterinary suggested RoRescue adopts their dogs as INDOOR pets, with sufficient supervised outdoor exercise time.
