Story
Meet Chad. He’s a scruffy ten pound, eleven year old owner surrender. Chad has some quirky behaviors that would be best suited for experienced pet owners. He sleeps well in his crate, we even leave his door open. He’s potty trained but will occasionally mark, especially if you’ve just cleaned your baseboards. He currently lives with a couple cats (he enjoys chasing them occasionally), a couple dogs big and small (he prefers smaller pups). He would be best suited in a quiet home without kids. Due to his cataracts and possibly a little arthritis, Chad can be a little temperamental. We’re not entirely sure if his attitude is due to health or he’s just a sassy old man! Story
Meet Baylon!Baylon is the very best 4 year old lovebug ever. He is the most loyal baby ever to his human companion- he smiles while he watches your every move . He goes in every room I am in-he does cry just a bit if his companion is away from him. Baylon is such a polite and kind young man. He is house trained and prefers to sleep curled up on the end of the bed. Baylon is a true best friend companion best friend to his human. He is timid ( light barking and cowering-- rolls on his side ) around men or any new person that walks in the room that is unfamiliar. He warms up QUICKLY with love and positive reinforcement that he won`t be hurt anymore. He is not aggressive in anyway. Baylon is really ready for his forever perfect BEST FRIEND Companion. He loves other dogs his size and is good with cats or would be fine alone. I believe he has had a sad past so a loving calm home would be great for him.To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!
