Story
Meet Charlotte! She came to us at just 3 weeks old after someone found her on the sidewalk all by herself. As she got a little older we noticed something was a little off. Her back legs were a little wobbly and she has limited hearing. After an evaluation by our vet we were referred to a neurologist. We quickly ruled out any trauma or infectious diseases. We waited a few months to see if it was something that she may grow out of but that was not the case. It was determined that she has some sort of neurological condition that causes her to have hearing loss and be unsteady on her feet. She also has a curve to her spine. The vet compared it to a drunk walk! We don’t know how it will progress but she is not in any pain and not on any daily medications. Charlotte is now about 7 months old and weighs about 10 lbs. She may stumble around a little but that doesn’t slow her down at all! She runs and plays with the other dogs. She loves her toys! If her food or water bowl is empty she will make sure you know by tossing her bowl around and barking at it! She is working on potty training but gets distracted easily because it’s more fun to follow you around outside. She will definitely be your little shadow! She is just a goofy girl and everyone that meets her loves her! Charlotte is located in Texas. Her adoption fee is $195 local or $395 out of state with transport and includes current shots, microchip, and spay. Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.I just cannot believe that a family would give up on this beautiful boy.  BLAKE is Mr. Everything!  His temperament is a sound, steady source of GOOD, quiet, not a barker at all, very social and gets along with all of the dogs in his foster home.  He loves to follow you around but he is very independent, he never gets in the way. BLAKE is a 5 years old, 12.60 pound Highland West Terrier and again, I repeat, he is super dog!!  We just love the way he handles his new environment and how easy it is to handle him.  He is completely potty and crate trained but when he goes to the back door to be let out he does not make a sound, simply stands there until you see him to let him out. Wonderful walker on a leash, does not pull, walks right beside you and he does not get car sick, he enjoys looking out the window.  Blake is good as an only dog with kids and a family who will love him or as a playmate companion.  He cuddles up with a 7 pound poodle HILTON that is his buddy. If you are interested in adopting BLAKE, please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         January 9, 2025, 4:49 pm

Story
Hey there, I’m Tali. I’m sure you’re wondering how a pretty girl such as myself wound up in the paws of a rescue group. Well, it definitely wasn’t planned, nor was it my fault. Recently, my beloved owner fell victim to medical issues that rendered her unable to provide me with a stable home. So, I went off to foster care with a heavy heart and high hopes of finding a new family. I hope my story of new beginnings prompts you to read more about me. I am learning to adjust to rescue life, but I’ve already proven myself to be a quiet, caring companion. I don’t bark, jump, or do much of anything really. I’ll happily lay by your feet all day and accept your pets and cuddles. My hope is that, in a few weeks, I’ll really start feeling confident in my new space. Will you be the one to provide me with the stability I need to live my best life? I would make a doting work-from-home buddy, or a rewarding project dog. Please take a chance on me and offer me a fresh start! Apply today!
