This supports all rescue dogs for vetting, foods and whatever they need.
We are all volunteers.
This is a combined rescue with our partner SanPancho Animales in Mexico. Sloan is probably a full Westie, but since we do not know her background, we cannot say that. She is 12 lbs , about 2 years old comes and from Tepic, Mexico. She is very sweet, friendly and extremely adorable. She does know some basic commands and is potty trained. She will be in RI for meetings on Thursday December 12.
She will have all needed vaccines, spay and blood testing done prior to arrival, including a microchip.
Westie's are rare to come upon in rescue, so do not delay. FILE AN APPLICATION, add as much information to give us a great picture of why YOU ARE THE BEST family! Include your plan for Sloan during the day if you work outside the home all day.
OUR PROCEDURE: We will choose the dog's possible family as soon as we see a match. We will phone you and further discuss . The dog will be in Rhode Island for a meet and greet. Please realize, it is our goal to get the dogs into the right homes as soon as possible and no shows are not good for the dogs and other serious dog families.
If you can provide a FABULOUS home please file our free application (see link above) and tell us why we should let you adopt our wonderful rescue. The more you tell us the better picture we have of the home you can provide for our rescue
Once we have reviewed your application and think it is a match we will notify you. Please understand that as these dogs are fostered we do get to know them and have a good idea of their forever home. We do save applications, but you may put multiple names on one application. If you have already applied in the past, then please send us a message with your name and what dog you are now interested in being considered for and we will pull off the server. We do not choose by a first come first serve basis. So if the dog is still up on the site, consider the dog AVAILABLE. We do take down quickly when adopted. If you don't see any information you need to know, we probably don't have an answer....like cats...idk...
