Story
This puppy has a face to melt your heart! That's our Westie/Chi mix gir named Wren.  And what's more, Wren has a personality even sweeter than her adorable face. Wren is part of a litter of 7 born around the middle of November because of irresponsible pet owners and they all spent the first 7 weeks of life in a small pen out in the cold on the back deck at a rural Tennessee home. Luckily, this rough start for Wren became a distant memory when she was rescued and moved into a nice warm, loving foster home. along with her siblings. There are no strangers that Wren ever meets.  She considers everyone a brand new friend when she meets them. . We think she would do great with children and would find them fun playmates. Wren loves to play and, like most puppies, alternates between the zoomies and sleepy time. She seems to get along fine with other dogs, but has not been tested with cats. She greets everyone with a wiggly butt and puppy kisses. We estimate Wren's adult weight will be in the 20 pound range, a perfect petite size. This sweet-as-sugar girl can't wait to become the newest member of your family!  If you are interested in adopting her or any of her littermates, male or female. please write to  critter cavalry rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com.  please mention where you live when you email us.  PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJanuary 28, 2025, 12:57 pm

Story
"Hello there, I'm Elvis. I am a 7 year old male West Highland White Terrier. A couple things to know about me, first and foremost - I am not a hound dog, and I won't be lying all the time....but you won't be able to help falling in love with me! I like slow walks to the end of the driveway, a warm fireplace, a dog friend to pal around with, but most of all I like my people! I am not a wild young buck who will rough house, but I do enjoy chasing my foster sister around the yard. I am perfectly fine with other animals and I enjoy a dog companion. I am a little bit of a picky eater, but my foster parents have found quite a few treats and foods that I like. I love people, but I gravitate towards calmer adults than busy kids. I am sweet and gentle, but if kids are running around or being loud, I will retreat to my crate for some peace. I am crate trained and only bark to greet my foster parents when they come home. I do not have accidents in my crate. I am nearly house broken, but I would benefit from close supervision at first in a new environment. I am a smart man I will figure out the rules in a new home quickly. I was surrendered to Zoe's House by a commercial breeder when they retired me from their program. I had never lived indoors, and I was in desperate need of medical care. I had really terrible dental disease, and I had to have 25 teeth pulled. I am feeling SO much better now that the infected teeth are gone and my mouth is healthy. I am a sweet gentleman and I am looking forward to meeting my forever family!" Elvis is being fostered in Southern Lancaster County and interested adopters must come to his foster home twice. The first visit is a meet and greet with all the members of the household including existing dogs in the home. The second visit is to take him home. Go online to www.zoeshouserescue.com and complete an adoption application! We do not always receive applications submitted through adoptapet or petfinder.
