Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.I just cannot believe that a family would give up on this beautiful boy.  BLAKE is Mr. Everything!  His temperament is a sound, steady source of GOOD, quiet, not a barker at all, very social and gets along with all of the dogs in his foster home.  He loves to follow you around but he is very independent, he never gets in the way. BLAKE is a 5 years old, 12.60 pound Highland West Terrier and again, I repeat, he is super dog!!  We just love the way he handles his new environment and how easy it is to handle him.  He is completely potty and crate trained but when he goes to the back door to be let out he does not make a sound, simply stands there until you see him to let him out. Wonderful walker on a leash, does not pull, walks right beside you and he does not get car sick, he enjoys looking out the window.  Blake is good as an only dog with kids and a family who will love him or as a playmate companion.  He cuddles up with a 7 pound poodle HILTON that is his buddy. If you are interested in adopting BLAKE, please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Sadie is available for adoption!  She is a Westie pup, 5 months old and currently about 10 pounds.   Sadie is a fun and active little girl who loves to play with toys! She enjoys finding a toy and carrying it around, often tempting the other puppies to try to take it from her. Sadie gets along well with other dogs, but she is also fine spending time alone. When it’s nap time, she isn’t particularly snuggly with the other dogs.    Sadie is happy to be picked up and cuddled by her foster family. She has been around cats and shows typical Westie behavior by barking at them—oh, what a little bark she has! She can be quite bossy during meal times, making sure her foster mom knows if breakfast or dinner is being served late. Additionally, she is treat-motivated.   Sadie is crate trained but not leash trained. She has a fully fenced yard in her foster home, which is perfect for her. However, she doesn’t want to go outside on her own; she prefers to be carried out. We hope that she will become more interested in venturing outdoors as the weather improves.    Since she is not leash trained, she will require a martingale collar at the time of adoption. If the adopter does not already have one, Pixie Mamas will provide it for an additional $10. If you love the westies like so many do, you will want to meet Sadie and apply for this cutie! Sadie is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, and flea/worm treated.  She has also been professionally groomed.  Her adoption fee is $700 to help with our long term and hospice dogs care. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 11, 2025, 11:49 am
