She's an affectionate girl who loves to give kisses and meet new friends - human and canine alike! Poppy has a heart of gold and is an absolute delight to be around. She's the perfect companion for anyone looking for a furry friend. She's perfecting her house training skills and is a well-behaved lady who just wants someone to love her. Poppy is a super friendly dog, and she's always been good with other dogs. She would love to meet you, so come and visit her today! Poppy will do best in a home with a fenced yard and a resident dog. She has not been exposed to children or The suggested adoption donation for Poppy is a minimum of $600 and goes toward the high cost of veterinary care for our rescue dogs.Wag N Train Terrier Rescue adopts to an extended geographical area as long as we can locate a local volunteer to perform the required home visit. Approved adopters are required to travel to Omaha, NE to pick up their newly adopted dog. We do not arrange transport, or fly our rescue dogs without a "pet nanny". All of our dogs that come from a commercial breeding facility require a securely fenced yard AND a resident companion dog, unless the dog's bio states otherwise. Winnie is a 6 year old purebred Westie recently released from a commercial breeding facility. She is happy and friendly and gets along with other dogs. Winnie is not yet house trained and due to her lifelong "incarceration", abhors being confined in a kennel. She does tolerate the kennel at night, though. As Winnie is not yet comfortable walking on a leash, she will need a securely fenced yard in her forever home.
